Here in Chile the scania was the most sold truck but we also have americans trucks i'd say the only european trucks we have are scania and mercedez my dad drives a scania now but before he used to drive a international freightliner wich was way to bigger and i prefer the inter but scania is good too

The roads and the streets in Spain and in the rest of Europe are too small for theese kinds of truks, in Eutope we have trucks with cabs "All in one", the engine, the bed, and the cabin are in the same space... Volvo and Scania for North América build the same trucks, with diferents cabins (American Stile).

sorry macthemec but from your talk you dont know shit about american rigs i dont live in america but everyone with sense in their mind would like the 30ft long american rigs.1)they were the first truck to come with sleepers.2)they still are the kings in aftermaket engines and tranny for example caterpillar,detroit,allison no offence but ........

Mack do own Scania mate. Scania is owned by the Wallenberg family,Volkswagen,Investor AB and MAN AG. They are in the US i saw a load of them on the high way to Nevarda city but mostly Peterbuilts.

they pull the same size loads, are much quieter, don't emit plooms of black smoke, and are faster too.

American big rigs are crap because their is no reason to improve them. main reason is they don't face any of the same regulations cars do because politicians have been duped into thinking thats "impossible" If it wasn't for government regulations, we'd still be driving model-T fords.

I would'nt say American trucks are crap really. I have never drove/ridin in anything else so I would'nt be able to contest that too well. I do really like the Detroit series motors with a big Allison under it, we had one in our freightliner and it was a beast!
