  • Mr. Troubleclef:

It wouldnt surprise me if I have given you 20,000 of those 36,000 views haha.

I'm a young guitar player, and I took an interest in learning Seu Jorge, Djavan and Jobim. And I learned about you because of your oceano cover. which i still havnt gotten down, because i found this song. This song amazes me. I play it to try to learn, you lose me on the intro, and i finish the song and start over. and over. and over. the cover is impecable. I also enjoy your favorite things cover.

  • and I hope you dont mind, but ive posted you all over facebook. My friends love your covers as well.

  • @elsantimurro

thanks. no, i don't mind at all. thanks for spreading the word.

  • Fantástico!!! Bom demais!!!!

  • PROJETO VIOLONISTAS UNIDOS EM PROL DA ONG ABF,

    PARTICIPE

  • Very nice, I'm new to Arthur's music and want to score some sheet music for myself, is it available for sale?

  • @guitargeekusa

not sure, you can ask him at his own youtube channel. user name "verocai"

    thanks

  • This is Bossa Nova....the best of brasilian music...

  • I have only been playing a short time and I continue to make progress yet I do struggle with getting through pieces without error. I have to ask and you dont have to answer, are you from a seaboard state?

  • Even with an up tempo your technique is something to aspire to. Love the Taylor!

Do you grow weary of all the adulation?

And one must ask; do you play out?

  • @MrPeggyo

thanks! no, don't play out. just a hobby

  • @troubleclef

Do you have any exercises that you have found particularly helpful that you would like to share?

  • @MrPeggyo

I don't do a lot of exercises. I warm up doing scales with m & a (middle and ring fingers of picking hand) because they're the slowest to get going. then from time to time i work on speed scales (intro to Villa Lobos Etude 7) and tremolo practice but not often.

  • Beautiful...

    Muito bem...

  • Makes me long for Brazil..........SAUDADE!

  • Makes me long for talent............

  • Wonderful playing; you always inspire me.

Have you heard anyone do Tapajos piece GANGA?

It's a cool piece in D minor. Afro Samba. Dropped D and so nice on a guitar with a thick bass.

Has some tricky variations. Got the music from Stephen Bell over 20 years ago and always play what I can remember from it. Damn; I've forgotten more pieces than I know now.

  • No, but i'd like to hear it. No one has posted it on youtube. you could be the first!

    thanks for watching

  • Sehr schön! Beleza! Beautiful!

  • thanks, Frank.

  • HI and once again something nice to wake up to wonerfull

  • Still... I never do. :P

  • i appreciate it. :D

  • You are Brazilian?

  • You are the best!!

have you tried to make a CD?

  • Unparalled. Great job!

  • I sometimes begin to think that I am a guitarist of some skill, but then I revisit one of your posts and I am appropriately humbled once more. Kudos.

  • Deine Musik gibt mir so viel Frieden!!

É bom ouvir uma música brasileira por aqui!

    Parabéns, adoro seu trabalho.

It´s good to listen to some brazilian music around here!

    Congrats, love your work.

  • Do you know any Silvio Rodriguez song you play very very well

  • your good

  • awesome!!

  • i`m sorry i don know speak english...but, who in composer of this piece?..thanks..

  • see "about this video". but anyhow his name is Arthur Verocai

  • It's getting repetitive but, yet again, fascinating!

I will add though that the visual picture alone is an entire 5-course meal d'exellence.

Watching the elegance and smoothness of your finger work simply adds another dimension to something that is "as good as it gets".

  • Errr ..... *my comments* are getting repetitive, *my comments*! Ugghh.

Having said that I still think that men have an unfair advantage (bigger hands, in general, ergo longer fingers/reach + strength) and that this can be the *only* plausible explanation why (rough guestimate of mine) about 98% of all commonly known guitar legends are male.

I'm certain it ain't got diddly to do with skill (cough, cough).

I misplaced the URL of the "Become-a-Guitar-Hero-in-One-Week" course you took.

  • I knew what you meant. thanks again. I won't comment on the males/guitars thing cause I don't want to get in the middle of any firestorms you might be starting.

  • once again very nice.

Did you remove Bohemian Rapsody from your vids?

if so, why, it was so perfect.

  • Wow,

Your amazing! I have been watching your videos and been a subscriber for quite a few months now. I don't know if your done with beatles covers but, if I may, if you could do a rendition of happiness is a warm gun, that would be fantastic. Thank you so much...

  • Bossa Nova is just so fine.

  • Hi Tony: Today we'll have a great tribute on Ipanema's beach to celebrate the BossaNova's 50 years.I hope that keeps raining, 'cause each time that those kind of big events happens, the city becomes a real mess, with everything durty and broken around, without talking about the usuals "mijões de rua" (piss on the streets). Saudade of the old Rio's times!
