  • you dont show the important parts

  • @PLUCKMANE

What important parts? Nobody else seemed to have any problems. If this video does not contain enough information for you to perform the task, I would HIGHLY SUGGEST going nowhere near any tools, let alone fix something mechanical.

  • I just acquired a 1998 Regal GS and the windows are running slow. I thought the motor was dying but after watching your video, I'm sure it's the cables gouging the plastic on the regulators. I need to replace a door speaker as well, so.. might as well do them at the same time. Thanx for sharing your knowledge, man.

  • @lordthomas71

Unless you are really strapped for cash, I would really suggest purchasing the motor along with the the regulators. The death of one component usually follows the other shortly after. Good luck, and thanks for the comment!

  • Did drivers side last year 2001 Century, now passenger side went.

These vids are priceless, many thanks to you for taking the time to

    make them.

  • @parisis4me

I'm glad it helped you!! Nice user name. I just visited Paris, and will be posting a video shortly. What a beautiful city! Thanks for the comment.

  • What kind of thinner do you used to make the rain guard/water shield sticky again? I couldn't quite make out what you said in the video. Thanks.

  • @philchen1

Lacquer thinner is what you want. Hope this helps!

  • is replacind the window regulator for the passenger windows same principal and just as easy?

  • @Gordogg1027

    Absolutely!

  • Thanks a lot! I had BOTH front windows break down in a month.

This video gave me the confidence to do this repair myself. Saved around $300-400 per window.

  • @meyermitchell

No problem! Isn't it amazing how much mechanics will gouge you?

  • Man, this video is going to save me hundreds of dollars. Thanks very much for this post. Much appreciated.

  • @smartcasts

You're welcome! Good luck with the installation.

  • Nice job. Thanks for posting

  • @utraceman
