hello! i have been watching the video, and i want to jailbreak my ipod touch to get it to be 3.0...i saw that the first step you took was opening a file with 2 options (redsnow.exe and ipod 2nd gen...) but...before that how do i actually get those two options inside the file? i tried downloading the link you wrote in the description of the vid but it didn't open correctly.

Yes I am sure. If anything goes wrong, use iTunes to restore to it's original state. Even if you break your iPod Touch, simply restore your firmware and your Warranty is restored as well. =]

I have a question. My friend gave me his iPod Touch today so I can jailbreak it, so how do I do all this? Like, how do I look for the firmware update if he gave it to me right now.

I have one question I jailbroke my iPod 3.0 so I had the custom 3.0 then I turned off my iPod, then turned it on and then where the apple logo come up it stayed right there with a loading icon, so is that normal? Btw I had to restore my iPod which took more than 1 hour cuz iTunes said there was a problem

If you restore you have to jailbreak your iPod Touch again.

hey, when it says "uploading ramdisk" it suddenly stops working. it says "redsn0w.exe has currenly stopped working". I tried running it as administrator and without it, I'm using vista home premium.

Try leaving it sitting there a few minutes. I sped up the video, but when I did it, it crashed with me a few times. I just let it sit there and it went though.

Allows for custom themes, third party apps (Homebrew), and you can download real apps for free. Although that's illegal.
