I think Mr. Hughes is living in the twilight zone. He can go ahead and tell Iran's potential adversaries what they want to hear in questioning their defensive capabilities. However the REAL military experts like Admiral Mullins have never underestimated Iran's strength. Also Mr. Hughes seems to think that Iran will just roll over should they be subjected to an air attack by Israel or the US. He ignores the consequences of a full scale Iranian counter strike on the forces in the region. Oh well!
The USA tries to act proportionally to iran's actions. However,if look more broadly, it seems the USA can't control the world and especially the dangerous rising power of china. That's cause of the soviet collapse.
Iran is a sovereign nation for over 300 years. The double standard and hypocrisy that is going on needs to be realized. America's allies, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Pakistan, are all where terrorists come from, and travel even to Iraq to commit violent acts against Shias. Salafi and Wahhabi Islamic teachings preach that Shia's (countries like Iran, Iraq, Lebanon, Bahrain are majorly Shias) are heretics and infidels and should be murdered. The threat is from SUnni Arab Wahhabi's, not Shia
Nobody will attack Iran's nuclear facilities. There will be a huge health disaster all over the region. Arabs, Pakistanis as well as Indians will be in danger of getting infected by the spread of radioactive in air. There are enough smart people out there to prevent an attack against Iran's facilities.
I think you are correct. No nuclear sites will be targeted. Just electrical power generating stations, communications facilities, the gasoline refinery, and , unfortunately, the water supply. Taking down those 7 or 8 large dams will put a dent in their electrical grid. Then what will they do , with no power, no fuel and no water and no communications?
Besides, there are many efficient tools, ways and methods to reach the goal such as economic pressure, regime change, reflection governing(intelligence scam, giving false intelligence to rulers in order to make them to make wrong, unadequet decisions, rotten basis of decisin-making), poison in all aspects as you said, and so on.
Iran's nuclear facilities will be wiped out within 3 months. There's no way they can stop America's new 15-ton bunker buster missles from hitting their intended targets.
The Revolutionary Guard leadership also will be targeted. Cut off the head of the serpent, and the body will die too... leaving the remains to be picked apart by an angry population which has felt oppressed by the regimes brutal crackdowns.
@PaulHartXYZ Maybe it will become a larger war. I dont think Syria and Turkey will stay still. Also the oil price will rise up becuz Iran is gonna damage oil supply threw the staight of hormuz. America shouldnt alway do what Israel wants. Greetings from turkey. Nice Report 5 *****
PaulHart is 100% correct. The Iranian regime is extremely vulnerable. I recently wrote an assessment of the Iranian situation and came to similar conclusions that he did. Having the Israelis take out the nuke facilities is dangerous due to the limitations of Israeli military power and the fact that the Iranians will attack US interests in Hormuz. If the US were to conduct limited airstrikes from Iraq, however, we would control the situation and could counter any Iranian reciprocal action.
Iran has its own modern air defence systems that are actually DISPLAYED during these war games. And in fact the title should be reversed: Iran is not showing resistance to 'deal' with its nuclear programme, in fact the latest IAEA of last week proved this. The West is seeking resistance to deal with Iran.
