  • The pistons are difficult to find oversize, I have a good stock one if you need it. The Honda XL250 motorcycle rings will fit but not the oil ring. I ran an extensive search for replacement pistons with no luck, distance from pin to dome was different from everything else.

  • Let me tell you a modification that will really help your engine. Remove the hyd timing chain tensioner, disassemble it , cut the spring and leave about 1/2" of spring , drill the end of the tensioner for a 6mm(heck the one with the 10mm head) and tap it for the metric screw with lock nut. This will be what Honda used on the motorcycles that never gave problems. Next use a larger than stock o-ring on the tensioner, that was a big problem, it let oil bypass the head. Grease the o ring /insert

  • Keep up the good work! Great you are saving these too!

  • I have lots of extra rims, mostly for coupes if you need more. I don't know if you are in it or not, 2cylinderhondas on Yahoo Groups and on Facebook: Vintage-Honda-Cars-S-N-Z-600

  • My membership to twocylinderhondas Yahoo group is awaiting approval, ( hint-hint ) I registered some time ago and wonder if I qualify ?? I didn't know about the FB Honda group, I will check that out. Thanks Miles!

  • you are one lucky dude :D how tall are you?

  • lucky I am. 6 foot even

  • i always wanted one. I only remember seeing one about 25 years ago. Maybe saw one or two when new. Probably just in ads. Early 70's Civics were fairly common but not these.

  • Hi there, I'm really yealous on you, here in Holland we had lots of rain and almost no sun this summer, so I will move to Portland Oregon because of the fine wheather :-) By the way i was just asking myself, what do you do for a living besides playing around with old cars? Greetings and thanks for all the cinematic fun.

  • Our summer was very different too, not much rain here this summer, but, sunshine was not consistent like normal Portland summer. Hot-cold-Hot cold. Maybe global warming is happening due to my enjoyment of all these little cars? I'm glad you like the videos. I love to share them. I hope sunshine makes a cameo in Holland soon!.

  • I love your videos and your collection (especially the Vespa). Keep the great progress videos coming.
