  • this reminds me of when I was a digitiser for a sign company that pioneered the trade use of cnc plottersto cut vinyl lettering in the UK. The machines were from scandinavia and the digitising system they designed was inspired by the viking boat building method of using several points to bend a board to get a desired curve. I had to transform pencil drawings into points that directed the plotter. The skill lay in knowing where to place the points. It can produce screen print pozis too.

  • @GrafixKidz, this is actually Coast Salish art from Western Washington but I have worked with Maori artists before. Thanks.

  • Maori art design :)

  • Yo, I'm new to illusrator.. is it possible to erase parts of a vectored image that you've placed ?if so how ?

  • @VJTunes vector art doesn't necessarily have an eraser in the sense like Photoshop because it's vector you have to adjust the shape, like having putty to push and pull around. I'd almost have to see what you are talking about to explain a solution. However as long as you can isolate the shape you want to alter locate it in your layers window and lock the others. U can do this by select all, then lock then find the one and unlock it and edit it as needed. Hope this helps.

  • cool man.. You have talent
