I think you're both right and wrong, I mean all bands need fans and some publicity in order to get money to cover there expenses. I mean there are roadies, producer, sound managers and all that crap that needs to get payed in order for bands to produce music and perform live shows and such, on the other hand it's really annoying when bands sell out.

Bullshit! Having been a fan from their first albums when Pat Jensen was still the lead guitarist, they were exclusively thrash. Slipknot is just metal, Iron Maiden is just metal. Okay, first of all The Haunted is a thrash metal band. Anyone with musical knowledge could see that, as long as you listened to their older stuff for even a second. Second of all, some nu metal is actually pretty good. Slipknot, System of a Down, and Korn are very good bands. Now they're nothing like a good thrash band, or a good melodic death metal band, but they're not bad. It's the emo stuff that we should be fighting against. Emo, screamo, and hardcore punk are just insulting genres.

This and Iron Mask are the best songs on the album. The Haunted is one of those bands that more people should know about and praise. They have a unique thrash style that absolutely owns all competitors. This is the definition of metal ladies and gentlemen. Enjoy it!
