  • $399?? I want one really bad, but thats wayy to expensive for my budget.

  • I WANT one !! I need it! I cant sleep thinking of it!! Ask them to send one to me as well ! lol.. kidding... no, am not...lol.. yes I am! ..or, am I ?!? lol... really want it... xxx

  • @EZbeautynews haha...It was very good of them to send it to me. I wish I didnt have to divulge that I received it as a gift by law though, because she was inundated w/ people asking for a free one. :-/

  • What kind of light bulbs are used in this mirror?

  • @MSteed7931 Check the website for all info regarding the bulbs. :)

  • what is the frame made of? i would really appreciate your reply.

  • @kissiekiks not sure how I missed this question. It's made of metal. :)

  • :P you know why they call these mirrors vanity mirrors right? :P

  • @pwnwner yep...because we ladies are some vain creatures. :)

  • I was wondering if you could show us some of the things in ur closet! I am trying to go more vintage in my dress but I cant seem to wear skirts all the time. I was wondering how you incorporated vintage dress into your everyday hectic life?! PS I hope all is well in ur pregnancy and I cant wait to know if it is a Boy or a girl!!!!!

  • Darn this is exactly what I am looking for and a chair (with a back gotta bad back lol)

  • Could you please do a video on how you got so into Vintage, pin up style etc... Thanks very much :) x

  • @genieeJ not sure what you mean...I grew up interested in these things. As to how to maintain this type of style, my blog discusses all of that and has a list of links for shopping etc.

  • Did you ever get white vanity lights for your vanity? because they come off as yellow on here??? if not then ignore my comment Im trying to find white lights for my vanity that I have its this exact one you have. ^^

  • @SkelaArtist I like the yellow lights. Since I have better lighting for makeup in my bathroom, I find that these lights work very well for hair. :)

  • so glad you did this vid i saw this on their site and it doesn't give the full effect. thanks i'll definitely be getting this.

  • love it

  • Thanks so much for responding! I did call and they were happy to honor the discount. I'm so excited, thanks again!

  • is the coupon valid until july 24th? if so do a have to call or can i enter it while ordering on line?

  • @love4yhwh You might ask them if the coupon expires. Just send them a message or call them. :) I think they will honor it. xxoo

  • hi. I have been wanting the VGH mirrors for a while now-just cant afford at the moment.I do have a question. he lighting looks yellow over camera but is it white light in person? That is what I am looking for.Yellow lighting is horrible for makeup-I learn by experience LOL

  • @ALSO...This mirror seems a bit better than the other one they sell that has only lights on each side--which do you believe to be the better of the two.Is it tall enough for doing hair&makeup? The other has a wider mirror(I think)but it seems shorter. I wish they had the mirror specs also on the site and not only the total dimentions of the mirrors as a whole MakeupGeek (marlenea) has the other mirror and I dont know which is better???

  • @customanimalart The bulbs they send you are a little yellower than I like. Before giving up on them though, I'd ask if there is a whiter bulb they can send w/ the mirror. They may have options upon request. I personally plan to replace these w/ soft white bulbs a few at a time.

  • @LisaFreemontStreet Thx for response. As much as I love both versions of their mirrors, they are just too pricey.I have decided to have my husband and son build a similar one(tabletop like this-not a wall mounted one)Now I just have to find lighting that works(which I found are all hardwired needing to be converted to plug-in)Then to find bulbs that give good light without too much heat.My current bath lighting strips give off alot of heat which is NOT good.Sweating & makeup-ing? Ugh!

  • I love itttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttt i want to buy it but im not sure

  • I so Love This Mirror. You are so lucky my dear..:-)

  • Love the mirror!!!! I totally need it!!!!!

  • wow that is really cool that they(the company) thought of you.

You are such a lucky chic!

  • Why are you swearing off infa red?! I love your hair colour! I found your dye tutorial very helpful.

  • where do you get your sunglasses?

  • @MissSatyaDanu wherever they are cheapest. Mostly Daddy' O's or a store called Flashback in Memphis. I never spend more than 10.00

  • Can you please give me the measurement of just the mirror??

  • @LVMAKEUP I can't find my measuring tape but the technical spects are 34 x 27 so the actual mirror size is a little less than that.

  • @LVMAKEUP they have put the tech specs on the website along with the photos. It gives all the dimensions of both mirrors.Just click on the mirror that you like and then pop up photos will show, one of them being the specs picture.

  • What a fun video!!!

  • This is awesome. I've always wanted a mirror like that. I've never heard of this website, so thank you for sharing. :)

  • oh my gosh, im jealous

my room is SOOOO dark because i have only 1 tiny window

its so hard to do my makeup

especially my red lipstick. i usually have to do it in the bathroom :(

  • I LOVE this mirror. I wish I could afford one of this quality. It just looks so classic. Maybe one day! lol

  • this mirror is soooo pretty! I'm thinking about investing in one of these as well, it's just so nice :3 but i'm not sure if i can afford it though, i'll have to save up for it XD

  • OMG this mirror is so beautiful, gotta start saving up for one! They should have some discount code lol...thanks so much!!!

  • I always enjoy this kind of videos in which I get to see how other people stock their makeup, hair products and so on :D Thanks for doing it!

Btw, I noticed you store your nail polishes laying flat. If you'll take my advice, that's not the best way to do it, because the polish will slowly get into the top and dry. After it does, you won't be able to open it again for the life of me! xD Besides, they can make a huge mess... Been there, done that. Store them upright if you have the space :)

  • Thank you so much for the video!! The mirror is gorgeous, I'm so envious. I loved seeing your set up because you have practical solutions. Nothing too fancy, but it keeps it all

neat and organized for real life use. Exactly what I need! I have a ton of those walmart drawers for my sewing and my kid's toys, not sure why I didn't think of using them for hair and makeup :)

  • So beautiful Ashley!!! I've always wanted a dressing room mirror like that. Great that they have the built in outlet as well. I noticed your hot sticks in the drawer...I remember you saying they were great for vintage styles -they certainly didn't work on my 80's hair (maybe that was a good thing!!!) thanks :)

  • the company choose the right person ^^! great review .. and i luv your vid! thank you:)

  • Love that mirror!! Thanks doll;). ~~Milly~~

  • OMG!!! Makeup Geek has one too! You are so lucky!!

  • i want that mirror xD

  • Thanks for this video, is perfect for "being nosey" about you and see how you organize all your equipment.

Get well, it sounds like you have a nasty cold.

  • That mirror is fantastic! I already have a 1940s vanity with mirror, but if I didn't, I would be considering one of those.

what do you use for brush cleaner? I usually just wash mine with shampoo, but if you have a great product that you use, I would definitely like to hear it!

  • @majinchichi I actually use the homemade brush cleaner that Enkoremakeup makes here on youtube. But that is just for spot clean up for my powder applying brushes. For my cream applying brushes, I clean them w/ equal parts extra virgin olive oil and dish soap. Works beautifully.

  • Wow completely gorgeous and absolutely perfect for you. I have the most amazing 1950s original vanity and I have no mirror like that..I need to get one. What a dream to have it sent to you! You are the best!

  • i actually did a vid on the bead containers being used as a eyeshadow sample container and how to depot a 96 color palette into a few of those containers...

  • it's an amazing vanity i want one but too bad their prices are so expensive i wouldn't pay $559 for a vanity

  • @reene702 actually, I believe furniture is the one thing you SHOULD splurge on, if you can. But I cannot afford it either. . That said, this review is for the mirror (349.00), not the vanity. This is a professional quality mirror and is actually competitive pricing for the type of mirror it is.

  • I LOOOOOOOVE THAT MIRROR!!!! I've wanted one of those for a LONG time!

  • Haha keeping curlers and such in plastic bags is not silly! I do it too and it works very well! I am dying to get one of those mirrors!

  • Awesome mirror...would love to get my hands on one of those.

  • Ive been wanting one of these mirrors so bad! they look amazing!

also i have been looking for hot sticks everywhere ... I used to have some ages ago and dont know were they went to :(

  • Oh My God Ashley I am so so jealous of this mirror, lol:) It looks so cool and wayyy handy for makeup! Thanks for the review & enjoy!

    xx
