WOW that was amazing! she has a great technique and her movements are so clean. But what about her face? Although this performance blew me away, if she had done some facial expressions it would be even more amazing!

She's a great dancer, and she plays to her strengths, but I find her musicality somewhat lacking. She's just dancing, all but ignoring the music. She could also use a bit more variety in her routines.

@elloelloello1100 okay i hate really hate when people say this. like what do you consider "actually dancing"? this is dancing! and this is one of the most cleanest and flawless performances i've ever seen. especially considering shes only 11 its ridiculous. i absolutely hate when under every video of an amazing dancer everybody says "this isn't dancing just tricks" its so dumb. pauling is amazinggg!

She is one of the dancers that makes the audience so silent you could hear a pin drop. You could feel the emotion in this dance, it was not all focused on tricks and showy choreography, it told a story, it had meaning and maturity, something that is often lost in dance today.

Paulina is still, by far, my favorite youth dancer and her movements are as clean and graceful as when she blew me away with her Satan's Little Lamb performance. I see the power developing in her routines, her style showing ever more brightly, and her commitment readily apparent. Bravo !! Ms. Macias.

All these dances are good but I think the songs are too mature for a lot of the dancers and they do not have the passion that makes watching dance so enjoyable. Its just all about the extensions and turns not about what the song and dance truly mean.

@kdub992 Even in Lyrical competition, the dancers are somewhat limited to the maneuvers and movements required, to make it easier for the judges to evaluate execution, timing, styling, etc. Judging Open competitions is hard enough as it is, if everyone just did their own thing, it would be impossible.
