the horse at 1:17 was The Quiet Man. He fractured his shoulder in a few places, the likely hood of him ever competing again was never, but they said that he would never been comfortable again, that he would always be in pain, so the owner/rider had him put down.

the horse at 1.17-1.19 died didnt it cuz of that fall...poor baby :'( i hate seeing horses hurt, i could really watch all of it due to that reason, but nice vid!! lol

@girlysweetie not really, it looks fine for it to jump, maybe it just didn't pick it's front hooves up properly or the rider wasn't preparing it correctly, they jump walls this would be easy compared to the wall...
