  • samantha ws awsome..his poor husband always in trouble bec her mom and her magical traits

  • l love ds show since mychildhood

  • 2:05 is probably the closest Samantha ever got to Serena!

  • Elizabeth Montgomery was a babe.

  • this show inspired Mad Men.

  • Bewitched meets the Jeffersons...Samantha Darrin Weezie and George!!

  • From the point after Samantha puts the note on the staircase and after Darrin wakes up you see just the back of Samantha walking to the door and it's clear it's not Elizabeth but a stand in a wig. because the hair doesn't look real from the back.. my guess is Elizabeth busy changing into Serena's outfiit. by that point. who appears seconds later.

  • I love dick york, didn't know till recently that he worked through bewitched with a real painful spinal injury which he ended up colapsing on set and thats what made him quit acting!

  • @LucaBlightBadass oh gee!!!

  • watched this show whenever it was on and trely miss it

  • illuminatic video, and ppl are happy to watch it.wake up ppl

  • there bringing this back

  • Is Isabel Sanford's master David Cassidy's dad? I think it's him.

  • @SuperTornado2212 Yes. It is David Cassidy's dad. Jack Cassidy

  • Comment removed

  • @SuperTornado2212 , yes that's Jack Cassidy, David and Shaun Cassidy's Dad.

  • nobody knows anything about this not even me

  • Louise Jefferson?

  • You better cast that spell, Bru-Hilda....

  • she was pretty!!

  • I love the episodes where they go all out with the spells with the theatrics etc.

  • I can't believe Sam would stick the note on the banister with a bulletin board pin.

For the longest time, a friend of mine thought Liz and "Pandora" were two separate people. He was literally shocked to find out it was Liz, and commented how much Serena looked younger than Sam.

  • Elizabeth Montgomery had once stated in "The Bewitched Book" by Herbie J. Pilato that this particular episode was one of her favorites, mainly because working with Isabel Sanford was a joy- I am very surprised that she wasn't in subsequent episodes-

  • I disliked this episode, because Samantha is taking the blame for something that Serena did - and even when everything got resolved, she never once apologized or tried to make amends!

  • @christheone8773 Your point is well taken, and bravo for catching this. But, don't forget, there were several episodes in which Sam used tht to her advantage by asking Serena for favors. She will then proceed to remind Serena that she owes her many favors and this will wipe the slate clean!

  • @dirths YES, that was very true, especially in the episode, "That Was No Chick, That Was My Wife" telecast on November 9, 1967 - ALSO, Serena's resemblance to Samantha (and vice versa) provided for a lot of sticky situations, especially if Serena and/or Endora wanted revenge against Darrin-

  • Elizabeth Montgomery is so beautiful, so charming woman and actriss, one of more talanted person and Bewitched is my favorite serial

  • That bitch who sent Sam back is such a bitch! Sam should have been like "Hey Bitch, listen up. I am the queen and yuo must respect me. Now shut up!"

  • Megan Fox is ugly, Elizabeth Montgomery was pretty!

  • This is my favorite Bewitched episode. This one is kind of like Gone with the Wind if you think about it:)

  • I think Elizabeth Montgomery looks great with dark hair

  • @phwebbie The dark heir girl is not elizabet she is her caz

  • @vartatoosh yes thank you, Eliabeth is playing two parts she is also playing her cousin thats why I made the comment about her looking great in dark hair

  • @phwebbie : Yes...Elizabeth played an incredible role as Sam's look-alike cousin- This is by far one of my favorite espisodes-I really like the way they vamped up Serena's look at the beginning of this season-not too much make up-just enough to set the tone for her seductive allure- she was hella sexi as Serena-I liked the sexi Serena music that plays when she visits..lol

  • @smittyk68 The whole idea for Serena came about in the show's first season, when Samantha was parading around in public in a dark wig and everyone thought that Darrin was cheating on Samantha - Serena didn't make her official debut until the second season, in the episode, "And Then There Were Three", telecast on January 13, 1966, the episode where Tabitha was born also-

  • i love this episode, it was the first bewitched episode i'd ever seen and 13 yrs later i love it the same way i loved it then. bewitched is one of the best shows EVER!!

  • I was named after the character Samantha...

  • Were Dick Sargeant and The guy who played Larry tate lovers? They did a whole 2 hour documentary on Bewitched and they curiously omitted ONE WORD about the guy who played Larry tate..as if he didnt exist and he was there from the first episode to the last?

  • 1 person hit the dislike button by mistake

  • we hate Darrin!

  • Trivia: In the first scene when Sam walks out of the kitchen and pins the note on the staircase, that is EM, then it cuts to Darrin getting out of bed, and when it pans back to the entry hall, that's not EM going out the door, it's her stand in Melody Thomas.

  • Sam sure does has a great figure........

  • The first scene alone is gold from todays perspective..the music, the location, the genuine 60's look of the house. It's like time travelling.Today most comedy series have no musical dramatical effects, only annoying music with no connection to what is happening on the screen which is too loud so you can't hear the actors properly, and a laugh track 5 times as loud as this one. If laugh tracks were as unobtrusive as this one I wouldn't be so annoyed to the point where I can't watch the show anymore.

  • Amo esta serie, ojala la dieran de nuevo!

  • I was waiting for one of those neat 1960s Chevy commercials....

  • @gojoe283 I love seeing all those great Chevy's. It's hard to believe they're now 42 years old when back then they were brand new. The episode I like the best for showing those cars is the UNICEF episode. Sam's backing into a parking space driving a green '69 Camaro RS. The other parked cars were a '69 Chevelle SS (with a convertible top), Corvette, 4-dr Caprice, and a white/brown Camaro SS.

  • @02chevyguy I have a '69 Corvair Monza sport coupe, daily driver, rust free 62K original miles...one of the last ones made. Great car, it's the only car I haven't gotten bored with over the years!

  • Isnt' the Black woman Louise Jefferson???

  • @gojoe283 Yes it's Isabel Sanford / Louise Jefferson

  • @gojoe283 Yes, Isabelle Sanford

  • @gojoe283 Yup! I was just noticing that too!

  • Someone help a foreigner, what does Serena say about "I bet... jumping on chairs"?

  • @ShmelevJr its 'I bet when the mice see her, they jump on chairs'

  • @b3witch3d What do mice have to do with it?!

  • Okay, very nice to find this episode that I've never seen before - we weren't allowed to watch this as kids - BUT, I have a grave concern. Didn't the note that Samantha left indicate the she AND Tabitha went to the store? Samantha comes back to get her shopping list - then mayhem occurs. Where's Tabitha? Is she still in the car waiting for her mother to come back? Then Darren goes golfing...WHO's watching Tabitha? Is she STILL out in the car by herself?! Is she okay? Has anyone checked?

  • @macraeman At last check 4 months ago, she was still in the car...patiently waiting for someone to take her in and to the bathroom.

  • it's a pity she was not a real witch... or else she would still be alive... =/

  • The house of Darin and Samantha was used as the house of Dr Bellows in Dream of Jeannie ep. 20 "One Of Our Bottles Is Missing" !!!

    Check it !!!

  • Is that Weezy?!! LOL! I used to watch this show religiously when I was a kid. I don't remember this episode. I remember when she was sent back to Olde England, and to the Salem Witch Trials, and there was another one with an antique dust pan or something, but this one, I really don't recall...thanks.

  • @Tritano Is this a true:"lost episode"; I don't remember this, and wowee, Darrin hit the daily double and he has to "go play golf"?!!!

  • @1Shadowdance "RIP the main cast" you idiot.

  • NAMASTE THANK YOU MOONBEAM SMILES

  • NAMASTE THANK YOU MOONBEAM SMILES :)

  • My favorite TV show

  • How come they had so many good shows and it suddenly stopped when 2000 struck...?

  • @RubicsCubeProduction Because in 1995 Liz died... :|

  • You can tell at the beginning that it was Melody Liz's stand-in because it was a much brighter blond. Liz had more highlights and her hair had more volume. They usually had Melody play Serena a lot but usually only when u couldn't see the face except a few times you could see the face. Melody was barely 20 when she started on bewitched.

  • very good episode

  • hey that was weezee. Elizabeth was so pretty

  • It amazes me that back in the golden oldy day there was such a variety of TV coming from the US. I loved these shows.

  • Oh how times have changed..."Fix me an omelette I'm hungry!" If I'd have barked that order to my girlfriend I'd be wearing the damn omelette!

  • @comanchio1976 Haha, I sympathise mate!

  • Dick York!

  • Why is the soundtrack sped up?

  • I LOVE this episode! Jack Cassidy was something else. :)

  • Wonderful Episode.

  • hahaha. bu Nuri Kantar'in "Kaynanalar" filminde de var :D

  • i have always wondered why Samantha stuttered on the show.

  • WOW! IT'S REALLY FANTASTIC!

  • i just love samantha!!:)

  • shes fucking beautifull

  • All I can say is, if you think that Elizabeth Montgomery is ugly, you're fucking queer. Sure, she is no Megan Fox, but she is a gorgeous woman.

  • @thecarolinabull01

While Megan Fox has a hot body, I gotta say Elizabeth Montgomery has a classic ..less done up..GORGEOUS face. I am a girl but haha Im not..er..gay.

  • @thecarolinabull01 Cal me gay, but I have not once found anything attractive about Megan Fox...

  • @davidn87 That was just the only name I can think of off the top of my head.

  • @thecarolinabull01 She is prettier and classier than megan fox

  • @thecarolinabull01 TOTALLY AGREE. LIZ WAS A PROPER WOMAN IN EVERY WAY, CLASSY, BEAUTIFUL AND HAD A PROPER FIGURE NOT A SKINNY LIKE TODAY'S STARS, SHE WAS LOVELY AND MY FAVOURITE ACTRESS.

  • @thecarolinabull01 Oh Please, look at the time we are talking. Back in the time they didnt have anything besides their own beauty and talent. Today with the help of a computer and lots but lots of cosmetic help you can look perfect. Look at Beyonce. serious, I don't know what she has been doing but she looks like white latin woman from south america

Elizabeth was not just a great actress but she was natural, she was beautiful, and what we are seeing now, is what she really looked in real life.

  • So far I have the first four years. The first two are in black and white. The colorized ones suck. They never got the eyes right.Insist on black and white I have been watching every night the last 12 days or so. i put one in at bedtime.Comfort T.V. Gets my mind of the days work or problems and puts me at ease and makes me Laugh! ONE OF THE 60'S BEST!!!

  • Weezy looks like Aunt Jemima..Maybe JAWG can clean that dress of Sam's.

  • i love this show it is so gerat!!!

  • LOL! Liz Montgomery was good in this dual role

  • Wow, Elizabeth Montgomery is smokin' hot.

  • It always bothered me that Samantha with get sent back in time by some jealous witch, and she never remembers who she is. There's Isabel Sanford and Jack Cassidy.

  • their voices are speeded up a bit I think

  • Oh my God.. I remember watching this in 10 years ago.. And it's till nice to watch it. :/

Btw, are the actors all died?? ;///

  • Ooops a goof up ... the note said that Sam and Tabitha went to the store, but only Sam left! LOL

  • yah know that her death is tomarrow april 30 witch is the day she died

  • Sam is gorgeous!

  • @JonasBrosFan17 you know endoras death aniversarey is tommorow witch is the day she died

  • i wish i was Sam!

  • this video is cool

  • Loved this show!!!!!

  • The video is very nice about Elizabeth from Breton2Robert : Gorgeous Elizabeth Montgomery

  • The video of Breton2Robert : Gorgeous Elizabeth Montgomery is very nice

  • The video of Breton2Robert : Gorgeous Elizabeth Montgomery is very nice

  • Sam was hot!

  • I don't know if this is common knowledge or not. It's not in the credits. Serena was played by Elizabeth Montgomery.

  • @mikian007 Well, that's obvious. The faces and voices are both identical. Just as jeannie and Jeannie's sister are both played by Barbara Eden (different show, but created by the same folks, or so I've heard).

  • very good show

  • After Sam made her a nice dress in the first season, she does that to her.

  • Its weezy looking like Aunt Jemima!

  • Iv been thinking about watching this show but it seems so old and the oldest shows I watch are from the 1990s but it looks good..someone reply to tell me whether I should give it a try :)

  • @TheGabrielleMarquez yeah you should its kinda funny

  • definitely:)

  • great show

  • You should at least try, it is funny, not dated as much of as a lot of programs and teaches you a lot about what was going on in America at the time in terms of women's movement and post 50's time with humor.

  • Her hair is super cute when she goes to new Orleans! I love the flashback ones. She's super pretty

  • This was fall 1968....I love Serena's music theme.

  • The airdate on this episode was October 3, 1968 - this episode also marks the beginning of Serena's kookiness-

  • *Dick York*:D iam wondering when was this show made..the style looks 60s or 70s,but its still being shown on tv here

  • can't be later than early '69. Dick York left around then.

  • 1964-72 it ran on ABC

  • The show ran from 1964 - 1972

  • Mrs. Jefferson.........where's George

  • i used to love watching bewitched when i was child and history repeats itself now my son liking it

  • Same with me, my kids love her and the show, to bad they don't have show and stars like this anymore. The good old days on TV.

  • haha i love serena. she's awesome!!

  • They are not any better then we mere mortals are. all the Witches and Worlocks don't even reconize who they speak to when they confront Samantha and think it is Serena....even if they are not part of Samantha's family you think they would know who everyone is if they attend thoese witches councils/Gatherings.

  • Serena was always my favorite!

  • @ lilmizweasley i know he is so like that rude .i was like sure how 'bout a burnt omlette.

  • Ah, the good old days...lol

  • "sam make me an omlette" so commanding.

  • @coco07able

I know that is what I thought.. I was talking to the TV and said...."forget it" LOL

  • but she looks lovely in those short skirts.

  • I think I get bummed with Bewitched sometimes because she never gets to defend herself from evil witches. Don't get me wrong I loved Bewitched but for once, couldn't she have matched another evil witch.

  • kind of hard to match a evil witch when she zaps you frozen with out warrning and your not ready for it.

  • where is Endora when sam needs protection from that evil witch.??

  • IN COLOR

  • RIP the whole cast.

  • @stinkalloy except tabitha and adam!

  • @stinkalloy They are all DEAD??

  • isn't malcolm too old for serena

  • Elizabeth Montgomerey had the most expresive eyes I've ever seen on any actress-bar none! And she was very very beautiful to boot. She cast a spell on us all!

  • I know right? Liz is a timeless actress.

  • She cast one on me as a kid and she still does. Beautiful she was, and my personal favorite of anyone in Hollywood. We lost her way too soon.

  • Comment removed

  • @TyjaluvsChaka Watch a movie starring Clara Bow...eyes have it there!

  • Heh, I want Dick York's job... Let's do another take, I didn't get that kiss right...

  • RIP Elizebeth.

  • i saw this cause vic said and its cool

  • Miss Elizabeth Montgomery

    Who Starred As Smantha

In Bewitched Is My True And Lovely Mum

    And That Is The Truth

And She Did Take Me With Her When She Did Film This I Was With Her All The Time

  • huh!

u think ppl wud believe dis...

she could be a lovely mum...

but she surely hasnt a lovely son/daughter or whosoeva u r!

  • young Mrs. Jefferson @ 8 minutes

  • Elizabeth Montgomery had stated once that this episode was one of her favorites, mainly because of working with Isabel Sanford in the "mammy" role-

  • at 0:09, when Samantha is going out the door, that is NOT Elizabeth Montgomery, but its her double, Melodie Johnson.

  • how do you know?

  • because this bit of trivia is featured in the book "Bewitched Forever" by Herbie J. Pilato.

  • I hated this episode and the one similar to it, entitled "How Not To Lose Your Head To King Henry VIII" from Season 8 - they always liked to pick on poor sweet Samantha!!!

  • i love love this show and i dream of jeanie too!!!

  • why all the trash talk leave the street at the curb !! good god !! LOVE THE SHOW its sad to think of the parents who raised these trash talkers but what can one do ... trash is trash

  • i'm only 15. but i love bewitched.

  • When I was your age, I loved it too, and still do. ;-)

  • i'm 16 i've been watchin bewitched since i was 3 years old :)
