haha yea thats how the british say it. i know its funny and i'm in a school full of them :P. you can see why the singer (may li) makes me laugh haha..

for the first verse, it's down down down (bass, bass, bass + treble), then quickly down and up on bass + treble. (repeat this)..

Sorry but i have no idea how to explain the strum pattern.. you just have to feel it i guess. there's no wrong way to strum a song :).
