There are some ways that worked for me:

1) You can disable the HID in your device manager

2) If it's not working than try and download Game Booster

3) and defrag your disk drive

4) If it's still not working there are only one way left: Find a hammer, smash your computer and sell it to buy a new one!

OMG that's exactly the way my game runs! I'm pretty sure it's the video card but I don't know which one to get. In the meantime I'll just keep playing the game like it is because it's still kinda fun (but not nearly as fun as it could be).

try to use software vertex mode or 3D analyse to close the shader and lighting in this game and try run it.

wow mine intel 4500m 128mb can run better than yours,but i have a good processor(intel core 2 duo 2.8ghz)and 2gb ddr2 ram 800mhz but i think it only use maybe 1.7 or 1.8 gb of ram because of my graphiccard use the128mb to put it into the vram

You need upgrades But i reconmand a new pc buyng a brand new one with the latest upgrades is cheaper then buying the upgrades and installing them i have a very wooden pc and a laptop so i cent run most new games with awesome graphics these days i have to go to an internet club to play them smoothly i give 2 EU for 3 h but it is worth it so im gathering for a new pc

@Pacacoca wrong, it was a problem with the computer not the game. My computer is not ment to run this game, yet my new one can becuase it has a better processor and such.

@stealinstuff Still, this game got a error with running the video card correctly and seems to get slower in weaker computer.

I have a powerful computer (I can run starcraft 2 and sims 3 smoothly with high graphics) but I couldnt run this one any faster than 15 fps anyway .-.

I disabled some HID drivers and unplugged my mouse and now it runs normally.

@karugax lol 2.16ghz is not enough to use in prototype game bcause it need a faster cpu to do shader and lighting calculation

i really got a one of a kind problem. the game is too lag in every vedio in the game but it is soo good in side the game when i play.  i really wanna know why??. is it the processor ? .thats also happend with me in (assassin creed 2)

@LiamAndJackWhut This is a CPU-bound game. It relies more on CPU power than GPU power. I can play this game just fine in low settings in an Intel 4500MHD Core 2 Duo laptop.

@daangelo29 yeah me too but i use intel 4500m not HD so i might need to borrow some ram to make it to vram.i have a cpu that fast enough to do the shader and lighting calculation.(intel C2D 2.8ghz)

I got the same problem when the game loads or when I change my video settings. Luckily you can easily alt+f4 out of the game instead of waiting through all the slowass menus.

Guys i faced with same problem

I solved it by adding additional RAM memory

my system : Core2duo 3.0, P45 , Ram -was 2gb now 4 gb, GTX260, PSU 550w, Vista x64

now FPS ~30 withouts lag's on full grafic settings!

Same here :S i have ATI HD 4850,3 GB ram.3 GHz procesor and its to slow but its litle better them you ... but to slow for HD 4850 .. any 1 have solution
