I served, and I was called gay and thought people thought I was gay, and Im not a fag by any means. The troops are not as open minded as you might think. It is unfair to subject normal stright troops to have to live with them in such close quarters until there is enough room to provide seperate quarters which isn't going to happen.

They do not want to know whom they are sharing confined close quarters with. homos do not have to tell anyone that they are gay. it is their own private business, and they should keep it that way,and thats the way it should stay. most people in the military wouldn't be proud to serve with someone who is openly gay. thats just the facts. again its no one's business. i have never heard anyone say anything otherwise.
