hi mate im running a 4g93 in my proton satria and i want to get a litle more acceleration and i was thinking about installing cold air intake would it work well?

Easy, modify your existing engine loom and add connectors needed to run mivec, map and air intake temp. If you want to do it properly use mivec oil pump and auto tensioner.

i have a sohc 1.8 4g93 in my fto and i have a full 4g92 mivec engine with ecu and loom. do you just change the top end and ecu or do you have to change the loom as well

@allen follow stock timing on crank or use a degree wheel to find the accurate tdc, up top use dial gauge and magnetic base, this case would be handy to have adjustable cam gears to compensate for the 4g94 deck height to be able to be timed properly.

So have I in my CJ CP pistons, forged rods and cam tech cams. However I do know JUN does not make cams for 4G93 E they only made cams for 4G92 Mivec ;)

You got an exhaust manifold leak? You got gases coming up from the bottom of the head from what it looks like in the video.

There are several people here who are using a custom turbo manifold for there SOHC surely that will suite the DOHC too. I believe they share the same manifold flange both intake and exhaust.

Well when we got it tuned the mivec was not activated it made 90KW atw surely with the mivec on it will make atleast 105-110KW atw. Ill keep you posted.

I was wondering if this head swap would actually work? cause i have a Mitsubishi Mirage with a 4G93 SOHC 1.8 and wanted to do this. Does the hp increased? does the MIVEC works fine ? besides the head , what other things do i need to do this swap? Please keep me posted , i really would like to know more about it.

As far as I know you can take 4g92 mivec head and place it on your block. (you will also need pistons, ECU, intake etc.)

nope i done this conversion with the help of llt racing the first in qld and it works fine with standard d93 internals
