@DDmediaProductions I love how they kept it so simple with it taking place on a white blank canvas with the..colours, nice animation, memorable music/songs, humour & plot. I used to have this on VHS tape, I loved watching it on rainy afternoons when I was bored as a toddler. I liked the episodes about the sweets, leaves & toy soldiers.

Literally its been YEARS since i last watched this I have not seen this is 21 YEARS I watched this on CBBC in about 1991 every Thursday Afternoon I still love the Theme Tune at 0:00 considering I was very young when that was first shown on CBBC but I still love it even now to be honest with you I have always watched Spider and my cousin used to have Spider In The Bath ofn video in about 1992 it was a great video but I still love this programme so thanks for uploading this amazing Intro to Spider

The reason this type of program doesn't exist anymore is because apparently 'The children of today want flashy, glossy animation, not hand-drawn rubbish."

Every modern cartoon is EXACTLY the same! There is nothing good about CGI---a good childrens' cartoon is carefully drawn with feeling, not slapped together on a computer.

I'm sure if the children of 2011 were all to sit down and watch a hand-drawn cartoon they'd love it.
