When I saw that episode of Law & Order, I burst out laughing, cause someone else GOT IT as well... The company I worked for ALSO used this song as well when they went public, and they fleeced the employees for a lot of money. The stock tanked. This was the THEME SONG & will forever be the CORPORATE GREED song to me. and many many others . This song makes the late 90s seem like a lot more of a fertile time for music than it really was. I remember it rising through the muck of Spice Girls, Backstreet Boys and mediocre hip-hop crowding the charts and being bowled over. We needed MORE pop songs like this. Too bad Gregg Alexander couldn't write for everyone or top 40 would've ruled ass. Still, music on the radio in 1998-99 still tops what I hear today... and I say that though I didn't like most of what was on the radio back then!
