no, the isolation moves are the same as the previous years on PS2. I'll tell you - i prefer the ps2s dribbling controls over the 360s (i have 2k8 on both)

Not sure if its as precise and quick as the 360 version but i would push and hold R1 then move the L stick left then quick right (or other way round). I'm not totally sure because I haven't really played it recently.

they looked great at first, but i realized that some of the later ones were travels; the characters were picking up their pivot foot all over the place, especially the explosion moves. i'm surprised the programmers didn't get hold of a real coach or something to check if the moves were correct...

All i am praying for from 2K9 are the following:

1. Technical fouls. lol. (it would be hot if you could complain to the refs about certain calls)

2. Have clean shot blocking

3. Foul Calling on jumpshots. (you can be harassed an still not get a call)

4. Make the crowd a factor (Like Golden State crowd should be hype as hell, swing momentum)

Thanks for posting this, 2k8 has the best gameplay and interactive crowd but they failed to add instructional videos which was there only mess up it is so realistic from how the crowd reacts to what goes on in the stands to how the players act on the benches
