blocking foul. He was there on time. but his arms were out and the guy driving had the sense of mind to driving into Varejao's arms (to draw the foul) instead of his body for the charge.
Maybe if he wasn't an infamous flopper he might have got the benefit of the doubt on that play. He made his bed, now he needs to lay in it. What a joke of a player.
I cant stand Varejao. I cant stand the way his stupid hair bounces up and dwon the court. If I was in the NBA I would get ejected from the game, suspended and fined for punching him in his fuckin face!
All u fuckin experts in here need to put on the stripes and try call that in a milisecond with 7 foot guys who are quick as hell and then tell me what u would call.
varejao moves into the shot-movement ... so it was a foul... if you look this part sometimes you could see, that the offense-player is already in the air when varejao take his position...
Varejao arrived too early. When his feet were planted, Terry was within a step away, there was no chance to change his direction without contact. Good call.
That's how it goes when you're a flopper. Guy spends more time on his back than anyone else in the league. He gets more his way than he should, really.
I have seen Anderson get many call, charges that were supposed to be fouls on him because he was still moving his feet. He constantly gets under the offensive player who is already on the air.

Varejao flops so much you can't tell when it's a charge or a block.

Cavs get the most calls in the league. without those calls....they'd just be another garbage team.

When you flop so much, the refs are less likely to call in your favor.

I disagree, Varejao is clearly in position with his feet set before Terry takes the shot.

Varejao should heed this warning: When you live by the flop, you die by the flop.
btw, Cavs swept in Finals lol worst Eastern conference champion ever.
agentk1986 3 years ago 2
absolutely true. its like the boy who cried wolf. the cavs are a lot better this year, especially since they found a real 1 in delonte.

Magic got Swept in '96, (with Shaq) what about them?
KCpro15 3 years ago 2
Wow, really? There was no flop in that play. And I got to disagree with the Cavs being the worst Eastern conference champion ever.

That is a blocking foul. He got into position too late, after the offensive player had already left the ground. It is a block.
