The doc I go to knows what he's doing . He's really gentle and nice . My parents went to a Walmart Eye Center and the doctor didn't know what the heck he was doing .
There was this time that I had to go to a specialist , and she was a hag . They wanted to do surgery on me . I didn't need the surgery . I think it was the one where they take your a eye ball out and operate on the retna . Either way , my doc is really nice . He is very smart . My last visit he said I had a little spot on the back of my cornea , which gave any kind of light a halo . Did you get your eye amputated ?
na, I still have both my dysfunctional eyeballs attached to my face, I was just saying Dr.'s seem to be a bit surgery happy which is great if ya get in a car wreck and your eyeballs pop out something:^)or point out disease. Really tho it is the lab tech that makes glasses that ultimately either fix the problem or fail at fixing the problem, the Dr. are really just "yes" men or a middleman to the lab anyway.
Oh I know that docs are sugery happy ! Two of my little sisters are twins and they were born 3 months early . So they stayed in the NICU for 3 months and all of the docs wanted to place a feeding tube into there stomach by surgery . The littlest one had a previous heart surgery at 10 days old and had a hard enough time getting over that . You're not supposed to have Lasik until you are 18 right ?
I would not recommend eye surgery. If one needs eye surgery then waiting till in ones mid-30's to 40's might be a good time but only if necessary. I also must stress the absolute DANGER in aiming or allowing someone to aim any kind of LASER into the human eye even by a doctor. There have been many optical medical malpractice lawsuits due to lasik not properly performed and result in blindness, halos, streaks of light and more.
I wouldn't either . I've heard too many cases of someone going blind after Lasik . While my little sisters were in the NICU , the docs wanted to do Lasik on them . That's what I was thinking about the other day that they weren't supposed to do Lasik on someone under 18 due to constant changes in the eye . They said anywhere from the age of 25 to 40's was the best ages .
just tick with glasses or contact lenses that are properly made, custom fabricated for your eyes only. Your eyes are the tip of your brain and the only part of the brain that is exposed externally. A baby can't focus their eyes till about 6 months.
B careful tho......Trust Jesus because he cares!!!
I don't have glasses right now . I am going to the doc @12:30 . I do trust Jesus . He is my Saviour and that is so cool that you believe in God and Jesus ! you had just made my day .
well, I hope ya have a good exam and day. Keep in mind that the AVERAGE human vision is 20/20 yours may be 15/20 or 18/20. My eyes see at 14/20 right eye and 12/20 left eye, if the dr. stops the exam at 20/20 I can not see clear because they stop at 20/20. People with a higher level of visual acuity require a very precise exam to determine the lens shapes. Those that have a visual cortex acuity of 20/20 are fine with a sloppy exam.....
i have to get my eyes dilated on 4/17/10 D: and my eye vision will be blocked for 4 to 6 hours DX

nice and gentle...what....what about correct accuracy, precession, mathematics and optical physics.
Dr.'s are good for some things like...pointing out your flaws like "hey dude your eyeball is messed up, time to amputate"
