  • my nexus s one everytime i turn it off it has the newest update it has honeycomb right

  • 0:00 moment of silence

  • david brent ??

  • SDK ROM? That's gotta to be slow.

  • Its kinda dumb to put honeycomb on a smartphone, but it is cool to see that the nexus one is powerful enough to run it.

  • Honeycomb Is an operating system that designed for tablets only!!!!

  • is fking lag dude

  • Well I can tell that this thing runs like shit!

  • if it doesnt work, why make a video and stick it on youtube, no one wants to see this shit

  • @UglyCheapGujji It's a proof of concept dumb ass.

  • @illuminarias the concept is shit, honeycomb is for tablets, not mobile devices

  • @UglyCheapGujji This is only to show that it is compatible on a mobile device. If you think that it's meant for daily use then you need help.

  • hey can you do this on samsung galaxy tab too?? and as u said its alpha state.... when can i expect a final release of this??

  • Wow. The HD2 runs it better than this.

  • @ThatOneGuyPro Yes, it does :)

  • it looks very laggy!

  • black track ball?

  • Comment removed

  • @joelevidotcom is this a different hardware model than my nexus one? cuz i have a greyish track "ball", i thought a track "pad" was something like on the G2.

  • @PSNantdizzo I was wrong in my last comment... got my phones confused... The "trackball" here looks gray, but it's only the lighting. In real-life it's not as dark as it looks in the video.

  • @joelevidotcom my nexus one ball is kinda gray now, gets like that after a while

  • thumbs up if you want one more htc wino 6.5 phone :D (with a dual core processor if possible)

  • honeycomb ported to the atrix would be cool

  • You should port it to the dell streak

  • @Rotznase14 Gingerbread will be coming to the Desire Z this spring. Check pocketnow (dot) com for details.

  • lol @ ppl analysing the performance

  • Honeycomb on the Nexus One really sucks

  • this thing looks like shit, honeycomb for tablets is good but this looks so bad, laagy, you cant scroll... god i prefer amdroid 2.2

  • "Calculator is always a good one" ? WTF?

  • @HUrbieta Lol... because Calculator is on every phone, shouldn't have any problem running, and everyone knows what it is and what it should do. :)

  • Sucks!!! really laggy

  • What the hell was that? LOL. Getting laggy and bloated =/

  • Lag..... but... ok

  • "I'm gonna zoom in here..." *Picks up phone and holds closer to camera"

  • @IAmTheLaw09 Best zoom EVER! ;)

  • @IAmTheLaw09 :) hahahahahahahaahah

  • Looks nice but super useless : ) nice phone! how about trying it out on the Nexus 2?

  • Got this on my desire with livewallpapres landscape and network also install launvher pro and open camera to go landscape

  • I just want the official gingerbread on my Nexus one...........><"

  • @PerfectDiver It's out now! JoeTheWebGuy (dot) net has instructions.

  • Wait for ice cream for phones.

  • This is really cool but also really useless.

  • @igeekone It shows that Honeycomb can run on a smartphone. All they need to do is work on the layout for the smaller screens... :)

  • lagg

  • Watch this get ported to te HD2

  • @DroiDxFanboyx It's already there! :)

  • @joelevidotcom Well hell, that damn phone is so flexable

  • @DroiDxFanboyx Agreed. :)

  • @DroiDxFanboyx LOL FUCKING EVERYTHING GETS PORTED TO THE HD2!

  • good luck trying to impress your friends :P

  • show off to my friend - 'hey look at my nexus one it is as lag as dead"

  • i can hear a baby sneezing in the background XD ahh so cute

  • @Marindo The flu that accompanied that sneeze wasn't so cute. ;)

  • @joelevidotcom sorry to hear that joe ><

liquids, rest and chicken noodle soup =)

  • @Marindo Everyone's better now! Thanks for your well-wishes! :)

  • it's really laggy :(

  • @hajoongjeong Its the same with the Evo its laggy as hell

  • Yea, just let it stick to tabs... looks ridiculous on a phone. And yes I know its an early beta but still

  • It is definitely not for phones. I mean it's cool to see that people are trying but it's no point. A tablet is more PC based then it is mobile. Who wants a tablet OS on their mobile? They're probably going to have to strip it down a lot for it to work.

  • lol

I bet my Milestone (still with no Flash) that a 16 years old kidz will made Flash work on it, before Motorola release Flash on the xoom.

  • @danielsf94 My Nexus One runs at 1.1GHz, my G2 runs at 1.5GHz and has a keyboard... :)

  • shit

  • i cant wait until google give us the official honeycomb/ice cream sanwhich for phones. its going to be awesome. i look forward to seeing which device will get it first, surely it will be a new device if its going to have no hardware buttons

  • ...so why make the video?

  • @5oupFTW to show that it can be done... and what Honeycomb looks like on a smaller, smartphone-sized screen.

  • honeycomb on smartphones fully working would be awesome!

  • @twistyfish I agree! The buttons need to be a little bigger, but the overall concept seems to work just fine. :)
