Sure there are natural cycles that affect climate mainly caused by orbital variations and "wobbles" in the earth's rotation. It's a given. To say that we can't influence the climate by changing the compostion of the atmosphere ignores the imperical evidence.

While the sight of the Perito Merino glacier is quite spectacular, it has nothing to do with global warming.

The past two years were colder than average in Patagonia. That caused the glacier to advance more than usual (the Perito Moreno glacier is one of the few which is advancing). The result is it caused a natural dam separating the two sides of the lake, and water on the side of the glacier to rise several feet. The resulting pressure caused the natural dam to give way.

GW is a slow process with subtle or very slight effects on our daily temperature fluctuations in any specific area..meaning, it's not going to actually feel 20% colder outside, tomorrow..it's a longer, slower process that we, & future generations, will feel on the earth & its cycles, as a whole. it is easy for us to ignore it because there is no easy or convenient solution, so humanity would rather act as though it doesn't exist, but u can't deny the inevitable. awesome vid and message!
