Also, if you haven't noticed, very few people actually use the hammer-on chords in this song. Try watching a more recent video, and not be a rude smartass who doesn't know shit.

Secondly, I'm fully aware of the fact that hammer-ons have been around since GH1, but that has nothing to do with me saying "very few people actually use the hammer-on chords in this song". Hammer-on chords have not been around since GH1, it was introduced in Rock Band 2. You have once again proven yourself to be a retard, a smartass, a troll, and a waste of life.

Its A string 11th fret with an open E.

Like the guitarist on the screen is playing on the top of the neck, but while it's the same note (G#), it's meant to played a few octaves higher, on the 11th fret of the A string, and an open E to accompany it. That way, while it's also the right way, it makes the hammer-on part and solo easier.
