Sounds is never good up close, the PA is designed to throw 100 metres. The best spot is always near the mixing desk.

@changingnames83, I'm with you if this was an audio recording but for video, the closer the better. I found that if you record video from that far away, you pick up alot of unwanted audience noise not to mention blur from the slightest jiggle because you're zoomed too much. I consider this vantage point the lesser of all evils.
