One of my fav tracks of all time. I bought his album when I was a in middle school, as I remember, and while I loved this track then, it has grown with me over the years. Thanks for posting.
I tattooed Daniel and Ben, I am selling the stencil I made for daniels eagle, anyone interested? p.s. if your a mad scientist that wants his dna to make a copy of him I wont sell it to you.!!!!
@Spedly geez. Lousie...i `d forgotten I even wrote this...you`re the first person in 8 mths to show an interest....................have to check with my accountant (missus) lol, where are you situated?
@stratiotaX you hear ALL kinds of riffs from ALL kinds of older cool music in Daniels songs through every album, but I gotta admit, he does them homage with a twist of silverchair thrown in, not just copies but uses the best sounds incorporated in his music.
@SkinSorrow when i play along to this with my guitar as soon as this part hits i just go fucking nuts all over my room... so yeh.. its not just you haha
ppl talk about these fads dying... well i still listen to grunge, glam metal and pop still hav listeners, good music, bad music, its all music and music never dies
@Boom1chaching But is it music? Or is it a vehicle for desperation to be on a magazine cover? Is it passion and drive? Or is it desire to be something even if that something is fake and fabricated? Mainstream "music" is far too image driven and designed.
@DTProt but im not talking about the band names, their songs, any of that being music... im saying the rhythm and feeling that anyone puts into making a melody, into making a masterpiece, thats music, nowadays there isnt much actual music, its corporate bullshit nonsense, but the few ppl that still put feeling into their songs... theyre the true musicians of today
i dont know why im listening to this on youtube, i have this cd, i guess its just that good and i was hurtin for some frogstomp. to the max. max power.
new music is cut so im going back to the 90's need more bands like this!!! please reply with any GOOD bands from the 90's (alice in chains. headstones. iMotherearth.etc.)
at the time they were young, it was good when we were 15, but he grew up and his music is more mature,...but Diorama was a masterpiece, young modern really sucks....faultline is still one of my fav by Silverchair
U know i really hate some of the cockface mother fuckers on youtube who comment just to fuck with people it pisses me off so bad that sometimes i just tear them apart like how they tear others apart emotionaly... I mean i cuss them out in comments
its funny the lyrics of frog stomp make a lot more sense than that of young modern. the songs are catchy but when you find yourself singing it you really have to ask yourself what the hell was he talking about?!?
daniel actually tries all the hairstyles possibles between frogstomp and today, long hair short hair grunge-style hair and much more! i really like the style of hair that he had in the neon ballrom era
By far one of their best (harder) songs and helped define the grunge era along w STP and Nirvana among others. I with their new stuff sounded more like this.
This is their best album right here, after that sadly silverchair didn't rock out loud,i wish they still had this style,I grew up loving that album,Old school silverchair rocks.
It is unreal that a 13 year old child can create such a beautiful album. AmazingAmazingAMAZING is his voice. They all are so talented. <3 Silverrrchair.
And to think, Daniel considers this crap, that the first two albums are just "his high school band" and that this "isn't Silverchair". I wish they still sounded like this.
<3 Gief more of this shit please, no boy band stuff, i wonder if they are genuinly happy with their new music? if so then good for them, but they lost a few of their followers.
Emo is just a fad that will come & go, just like grunge. Every decade or so has a big thing, pop & glam metal was big in the 80's and died (thank god) and grunge in the 90's. It was considered an underground thing, but it became mainstream because of so much popularity and lost its identity and slowly died. The same thing will happen to emo, becuase of popular or mainstram it has become. I never have and never will like emo music, but I doubt many people know what it actually means.
@0foofighter0 yeah a great way to put it, every decade had its subcultures and slowly they have died, like the hippies of the 60's have basically died out.
lmao indeed medman
