The point of diffusion is not to cool the smoke but to filter it. Cooling the hit is pointless you can put ice in a roor and have cold resin tasting hits all day or you can filter the smoke and have it be less harsh. EHLE has its place but realize that Toro and Sovereignty also have theirs the difference is the Quality of the glass the time put in to make it and how many there are of the certain item. Thats why SG production pieces are so cheap.

@420burnednugz Congrats, I'm glad you got straight tube roors. Maybe....because that's what they specialize in? When it comes to straight tubes, with no add-ons, roor takes the cake, that's my point. My favorite glass pieces ever would be the Toro 7/13, hi-si u perc, and the Mobius RETI. Obviously some percolation is gonna make a HUGE difference, but that doesn't mean a straight tube isn't great once in a while. And I dunno, I prefer Toro over SG tbh...

EHLE does nothing different than bongs of the '80s, that's why they're $50. If you want superior filtration designs, there are many solid brands out there but they're not as 'affordable' as the out-dated designs of Roor and EHLE. Buy what you can afford but realize expensive glass is expensive for a reason. There is a HUGE difference.

My friend owns a Toro tube and I have tried it; As for smoothness there is no noticeable difference at all compared to an EHLE tube. I have also tried using an EHLE tube with and without an ashcatcher and I did not notice any difference.

Once the smoke is cooled down you cannot cool is any further therefore all that extra filtration is completely pointless and therefore you are a snob. Get real.
