Hi there wantsomebutter - the pain was very localised and got worse over a period of four / five days. I doubt that you have the same problem as Rachel :-)

wow good rounds but u need to get his head under control...i used to jump 3ft 9in so ik how hard that is but it will look sooo much better as soon as he does...or it did for my mare :)

Great horse!!

But, I noticed a few things:

One: He holds his head really high. I'm not sure if its his confo, martingale, or how little slack you give him.

Second: It looks to me that you really are killing his mouth. The reason hes thrashing his head around is because you are pulling too much on his mouth. Its probably because he's a crazy horse and you need a tight hold on him, but I suggest that you guys fix that =] Great horse.

firstly he always does that and he is a former whitaker pony and has done it with all riders and if hes going on the bit in the approach he always knocks them down and anyway its almost impossible 2 keep his head down because he gets rly excited....

Incredible :D wish I had a horse like that, not that my horse isn`t good to, but Rebel is certainly one of a kind, and the fact that he is only a pony, I think I might look a long time for a more honest pony like him. Rachel are so lucky, and Therese too, that is allowed to compete with him :)) - sry if there is any faults in my writing XD

Hah! I did say approximately 14.3hh...

I think he's between 14.2 and 14.3 hh.

In these circumstances, I much prefer metric measurements because it's more precise (I've never understood hands). He measured in for his FEI passport at 149 cm, which is the maximum allowed for a pony under FEI rules.

i had osteomyelitis when i was 7 and i managed to sleep for a whole week straight after hospital treatment - it was half term as well! i hope that rachel gets better - if there is one thing i know about osteomyelitis - it hurts! i had it in my legs so i couldn't ride for a while :(. but i am back in the saddle now and my brother is going to film me at area xc :D so it will get better just watch that is doesn't return.

I dont blame her for juming on rebel at the end of the vid - I would have done the same.
