My friend gave birth to a baby who was 22 weeks and 6 days old. She however died in my friend's arms. She was to be named Ava as well. I'm happy this family did not have to go through all the sadness my friend is experiencing right now.

this is wonderful. you guys are inspriation to all. let us all help these organizations to advance their reserarch and finding so we can have more Ava's around us. I am so proud to be your friend. thanks for sharing.

What a wonderful story about Ava! I'm so thrilled she's done so well. A very good friend of mine has a preemie that was really touch and go for months. He too, is now a healthy toddler - a real miracle! I just gave to March of Dimes today!
