you'll be pleased to know, i have my afro now, i am trying to grow it :). i use mixed chicks. its amaazing.seriously it actually does what it says. when i use it my hairs like pasta ( because the curls are so defined). i was very unhappy with my self around 15 but i guess at that age you want to fit in. thank you for making this video, it is really important that someone has. i hope you will be to see where i am coming from in my last comment, i know its stupid, let alone sad

okay. i feel weird about this, but, i am so insecure and have been in the past that i came to the conclusion that i wans't beautiful anymore ( because i used to get and still get so angry that black people arn't represented in the medea as beautiful and i don't know what it is about me and being beautiful but the whole issue of beuty makes me feel weird. Now I'm not trying to rag on your dad or anything... but you need something like creme of nature or razac leave in. Garnier is not strong enough for African American hair. Your hair seems a little bit dry, which is why in your other video I suggested that you should put the leave in like you've been doing while it's damp, but THEN make thick, fat braids with your hair so that it'll have a tight jheri curl afro kind of look and not the blow dried look.

I know this comment is old, but some face shapes require hair covering the forehead. Especially oblong faces, with tall foreheads. So a fringe covering it looks better than all of it being curly and pulled back. A lot of fashion magazines do this as well. I think the style is cute.
