Pearl Jam really made some great music in the 90's, as did Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Sound Garden, Smashing Pumpkins - if you don't like it, thats fine - all music is based on taste - no music sucks and no music is better than the other - it's personal preference. Eddie Vedder's solo music for "Into the Wild" was GREAT. Also, Pearl James album from 2005 or 2006 I think it was, was GREAT.

I personally think that Bear is an idiot. My wife and I call him the kangaroo man.:) He jumps off everything. Jumping off rocks into lakes, into rivers, he can't even walk down a mountain. He has to hop down. Perfect way to snap an ankle, or brake a leg and get stranded. There should be a WARNING at the beginning of his program and at the end. Yeah he does a lot of pointless things that wouldnt really help you that much in a real situtation. The show should focus more on the survival tips. In one episode he did 3 campfires but never showed how he lit them... Also I hate how he always survives, Id rather see him getting taken away with a helicopter instead of surviving by bluffing. I think I saw survivorman once, I love how he doesnt have a camera crew with him.
Did you ever see a show called "Survivorman" ? He's probably never been to Mt.Everest, but he knows how to run a show. The advice he gives is how to survive in different situations, tips that are really helpful. The man has common sense, which Bear does not. Last ManVs Wild I saw, he was I believe in Romania. He walked down tha hill, and when he got to a cliff, he just did a backflip into a small lake. If you think that's smart, I suggest you go and do that yourself. Good luck, you'll need it.

Don't remember the last time I climbed everest, saw the world, passed through the hardest military training, slept in a cave, ate live animals, and got my own discovery channel show. Bear climbed Mount Everest and served in the British forces. I do think he can survive in the wild, because he was trained to do so. And yes some things are staged, but that is to show us what can happen.
And yes he has a doctor because he wants to show us what can happen without Discovery channel receiving claims of his relatives in case he might get injured in some horrific accident. Just because some things are staged, does not mean that everything is fake.
look mate he was trained in the worlds most elite forces known as the SAS but he was Traind especialy for survival...so i think bear could poss pull enythin of in the wild

The crew do get to use equipment/supplies etc, since they are there for safety too.

Bear Grylls isn't a fake, Lets not forget he was SAS. Anyone who knows anything about SAS should offer a little more respect for this man, whether he has a camera man, medic, or stuntman. By the way how many of us can even come close to being a mirror image of this guy. Don't remember the last time I climbed everest, saw the world, passed through the hardest military training, slept in a cave, ate live animals, and got my own discovery channel show. I'll do it next weekend. Show some respect!

Just because some things are staged, it does not mean that everything is fake?

Bear Grylls is a fake he is a party of 4 people, one Medic, one camara man, stuntman, and then him. I dont even think he can survive in a garden for 2 min

Dear Ingvarioi,
Bear climbed Mount Everest and served in the British forces. I do think he can survive in the wild, because he was trained to do so. And yes some things are staged, but that is to show us what can happen.
And yes he has a doctor because he wants to show us what can happen without Discovery channel receiving claims of his relatives in case he might get injured in some horrific accident. Just because some things are staged, does not mean that everything is fake.
