Both twilight and True blood are good, True blood is better in my opinion and twilight is more about a love story, true blood has more sex and action and is more interesting

I just grabed it off of Price choppers racker cause i love anything about vampires and i loved it so much I couldnt stop wacthing it I wacthed the hole first season in just 2 days. These series have more to them than just Vampires, it way deeper than that, pay close attention to conversations, tv news, race, sex, politics... etc

The only thing I didn't like is Vampire teeth, I wish they made them to look a little more realistic.

With the books it depends what you like reading-I'm a teen but i prefer reading adult books but if you don't read a lot then i guess Twilight is for you. I was also forced to read Twilight and didn't really like it because everything was so obvious right from the beginning! With Charlaine Harris' books I was completely taken by surprise with all the twist and turns in the series.

I'm sorry but i just have to completely disagree with you here-I'm not trying to be difficult, really I'm not. But if you have read the dead/Sookie Stackhouse series (which i assume you haven't) you'll understand the 'twists' that I mean that are included in the series. I'm sorry but it just really annoys me that the twilight series has gotten a lot of hype yet for me it was a real let down because it was obvious that Bella+Edward would get together etc

I dont think there was meant to be suspense about bella and edward, of course if was obvious they were going to get together, in my opinion it was more about how they dealt with the fact that he's a vampire and like in new moon how sometimes that means pain for the both of them..but I dunno lol ^^;

okay if you are talking about adult vampire books then the only auther that fits that catagory is Anne Rice. Harris and Meyer's books are both teen books. The difference between Meyer and Harris in my opinion is that Meyer was influnced by the classic romantic stories and expressed their love in a very human way though he is a vampire, I guess it's the simplicity of the book that made people love it.

Tbh.. I love both Twilight and Dead until Dark. There both so simallar and yet so different. Anyway, Dead until Dark was wrote before Twilight. So, people can't go around saying they "copied" Twilight. I love them both.. <3
