I play difficulty 5 all the time on Ps3 you gotta exploit your sweep kick and coax the computer into jumping back they get screen distance huck a projectile when they jump it do either a flat high kick or a roundhouse (timing is everything) and you'll clip them don't jump (unless you gotta ) play defense walk towards them and continue dictating what move their gonna make by playing defensivly once you get it down sometimes its almost like your controlling what the computers gonna do...

It reminds me of children who take up something like basket ball or the guitar, and just because they aren't good right away and get frustrated easily so they call the game dumb. The game isn't "ridiculously aggressive." Have you tried the hardest setting I think ThAT is almost damn near impossible.
I remember playing this game on my sega years ago and it was never this hard. I'd always play on the easiest setting and I remember the guy's who you fight just standing there pretty much waiting for you to hit them in the early stages
the furthest i got to is battle #5... holy shiittt dude.. they are undefeatable.. i even try it on the easiest level.. blocking wont help.. they just throw u.. n they dodge far range attack
all arcade MK games are ridiculously hard, those that make them all a fail? cuz i never got through the arcade mode in Ultimate Mortal Kombat, their awsome but u cant expect to go through it at the first try, so stop slaming the game so hard, the fact that u suck doesnt mean the game is bad
I have MK Trilogy for PS1. The AI are ridiculous. It doesn't seem to make a difference what the setting is, except they may be less agressive on easy. They're certainly not less perfect.
Those games are only cool because of the gore and 2 player modes.
By the way, when you have your enemy stunned, at least do an uppercut instead of a few weak punches.
LOL mortal kombats CPU is hard. But as long as you know simple combos and your special moves your fine. I never had problem beating this game out side out the boss. ALSO In MK3 running! I hate running that ruinedMK for me. Street fighters cpu is realy hard also considering when you play the game its default isnt even normal its set below it.

MK2 isn't all that easy, friend. Especially when the computer is so retardedly cheap. They get close to you, they throw you. They get close to you again, they throw you again. Also, some of us don't have the luxury of being given all the controls or specials by the game (Shaolin Monks version). Not that it matters when you get thrown to death every time.
