its funny because the ram can haul more than the raptor. the raptor has the 6.2 (400hp) and 4.11 gears and the ram has the 5.7 (390hp) and 3.55-3.92 gears and the ram can haul more. and those fox shocks you cant buy from the factory and they are specifically built for the raptor. so good luck getting new shocks. and the only special thing about the raptor is just those piggyback fox shocks thats it. so ford fail

Ive owned 2 Fords (F150's) and 3 Dodges (Ram 1500's). The first ford was decent on maintenance, minor problems like burnin out light bulbs, but sucked in power. The second Ford had a terrible time just trying to start after 2 years and again not much power. The first Dodge was bad had a hell of a time with the trans. My next 2 Dodges had not a single problem and amazing power for an everyday truck. Obviously comparing the raptor to a standard Ram is like comparing a .50 cal gun to a .22 cal gun

personally, i love my raptor. i previously owned a dodge and had nothing but problems once the first problem occured. my raptor is smooth, and clean and runs like a baby. plus, my raptor turns more heads due to the rarity of the truck versus a dodge ram
they make a raptor 800 kit for the 6.2, it tops out at 810 horsepower at 3300 rpm and 745 ft/lbs of torque at 3300 rpm. Don't know what the 0-60 time is, but thats a lot of power for a production vehicle

My friends uncle had a raptor... Yeah he traded it in 2 weeks later, he said it wasnt a smooth ride at all, and it sucks off road. You guys need to check up on your stats! Ford and Chevy have to lower their testing for payload and towing by almost 1000lbs because Dodge is garbage and can not compete! Same with the muscle cars, the mustang and camaro leave the challenger in their dust! Thats the reason FORD and CHEVY are the best. The only "good" thing to come out of Dodge is a mini-van.

@FreedomFighter70085 Just hit both websites pal the base model 1500 is 1200 dollars cheaper that the f-150 if your actually a freedom fighter i know how much you make. Even in medium duty rigs the base model dodge is 800 cheaper which if you a pfc that is not married and not on jump status is your mid month. Last time i checked when somethings costs more its more expensive not cheaper? People pay for premiums.

@stradplayer90 Well there you did learn me something I did not no. When I got my dodge I paid close to 6g's more than the ford of it's comparision.. I did not know that Dodge's were cheaper.. But thats still besides the fact, and that fact is that Dodge Is the better buy.. For one They cheaper and 2 they cant be messed with.. Chevy cant even fuck with Dodge. Well I say that.. They are pretty even..

To all the Dodge fans out there, the Raptor is the only production pickup to ever finish the 1000 miles of Baja, it not only finished, it came in third as it left the assembly line. This against vehicles built especially for this race and it placed third. No dodge or Chevy has ever finished this race let alone placed. Until they do, all your whining is just that.
