@unlaughable In my opinion if it's between a $80 regular Black Widow and a $250 swtor keyboard I would say get another BW ultimate. If Star Wars is your thing and you're looking forward to that keyboard then go with that. The swtor keyboard won't be mechanical to my knowledge so if that's one of the deciding factors I would go with the BW.

The thing about the windows key being on the left side, is that you can with the software and by pressing 2 keys on the keyboard, turn the windows key on and off. Just press the FN key and F11, then the windows key is disabled.

BTW, I got this keyboard for Christmas, and it is truly AMAZING. Without a doubt.

Anti ghosting allows for multiple keystrokes simultaneously, without having one key override the other. What ever you press, up to it's limit, which I think is 10 keys, those 10 keys will register.

@zomgwtfbbqbagel no... anti-ghosting means adjacent keys will not register accidentally without even pressing that key... this is a rare case in non-mechanical keyboards... this keyboard is mechanical, and like all mechanical keyboards it is advertised as "anti-ghosting"... also this keyboard has a usb input so the maximum keys you can register simulateneously is 6... if an sp/2 adapter is placed, it can register as many keys simulateously...

@IVIdnightGaming i would go for the blackwidow ultimate over maurader b/c bw gives faster response time which is crucial for rts games and increase ur apm in games like sc2. maurader measures ur apm, but doesnt increase it. im not a sc player but i play league of legends, and i know that response time is important. btw if u are getting bw get it from newegg. its cheaper and comes with the razer spectre sc2 mouse for free. i prolly will get bw for christmas :)

@Andres8948 majorly depends on what you going to use it for. Overall, i would say its worth it as long as you use it a lot. And i mean a LOT. It's designed for heavy gaming and typing above anything else. If you are a gamer, and you play high APM (actions per minute) games like StarCraft 2 and Warcraft III (World of Warcraft is NOT a heavy APM game. Its mainly RTS's) than this game is going to make an eradicable difference in your gaming. Likewise, if you are a typer, you will be much faster ^^

@Andres8948 no problem :) i have this keyboard too, and im a SCII player too ^^ i used to be a SCI pro gamer, but got lazy during SCII :P but yea, this keyboard served me well for a while now, and i do recommend this one over the marauder. The marauder isn't a mechanical keyboard, and the Cherry blue switch is just perfect. The only thing is that you have to get used to it if you used only non-mechanical keyboards before. But yea. All of it is coming in today. sometime... and i cant wait ^^ (also i got an HD 20" widescreen LCD for it. I don't like them too big cuz its kinda pointless :P 20 is plenty)

In total my computer should be around $570, but if i add the intel i7; it should reach around $750. Then i'll be getting this keyboard and i have the razer imperator with the vespula mousepad. but the R.A.T. series is so SICK, too bad they don't have a mac driver :/ but my GFX card will be cheap too lol.. its the GeForce GTX 550

@Andres8948 sounds great. The 8core rly is for casting, its pointless to gave an 8core. Games just started using 4cores, so 8core is overkill if that's all you will be doing. but i cast online as well, and that takes a LOT of CPU power. What your getting is perfect for the price. And for pretty much any game out for the next 1 year.

@Andres8948 Mac for me is just oversimplified and restricting. There is so many things you can do on a PC that you cant on a MAC. Not to mention the rediculous amount of games that MAC DOESNT support, and amount of $ it costs... not worth it at all in my opinion.

But your friend is right. AMD CPU's arent as good as Intel especially when it comes to gaming. if you got the $, go for the i7. its worth every penny. And it lasts long.
