180 pounds seams like a lot, especially because I think the isobot has been, or is being discontinued. Don't quote me on that though. I'm seeing them on ebay for a lot less...thought that is probably ebay US.

i-SOBOT is a cheap chinese made toy that has weak chinese screws that strip the first or second time you use them, and the servo motors are not reliable even though they are supposed to be made in Japan. A servo can die ONLY a day or so after you buy it, AND under careful use as well!!! If one servo is not working, the WHOLE ROBOT is crippled. Also the hex key that comes in the box is also weak soft chinese metal and that will strip after you use it a couple of times.

hi, I bought my iSobot in Dec.2008. The servo for the right ankle died after just 1 HOUR useage! I didn't know that a motor would die so fast, so I tried to align the legs with the set key (included) while i had iSobot in his "0" position. When I tried to loosen the second screw, the hex-head STRIPPED OUT round! And then after using the set-key some more, it ALSO STRIPPED round! That's why I said basically it's cheap toy made with cheap materials and components.

Yes glad i could help. I don't like being the bringer of bad news but its true. A couple other troublesome points about this toy:

a) the r/c is very confusing and does not t/x (transmit/receive) very well because the IR is on his shoulder and the head blocks it alot.

b) you only get 1 hour to play, then wait 7 hours!! for recharge.

c) you will want to rip out the speaker in his stomach after you hear the annoying voices/fx a few times LOL
