But i wish I still had mine to, Im working on another one now, got a 87 with T-tops. Had a chevy 350 in it when I got it (it will eventually come out lol). But im putting a T56 in this one, should be on the road sometime in July. So look for some vids sometime soon.

Hell the stock bottom end with a set of 350 heads, edelbrock intake, a decent cam, good quadrajet, headers, and a good exhaust system and it would be quick. Oh and a stall converter and 3.23 or better gears.
@aceboogie8409 I put a 403 in an '81 Cutlass; rebuilt it bone stock except for a Crane 'motor home' cam, for lots of low end to turn the Cutlass' 2.29 rear axle. Breathing got weak over 4500 rpm, but with that gearing who cares? I could burn rubber like stupid, never worry about breaking the engine, blow 99% of cars off the road and still get 25 highway MPGs! Do budget for a hefty radiator; 403's huge bores are siamesed so they need LOTS of cool 'water.' Wish I still had her! Damned road salt!

@teamonellie I had an 85/307 Salon ,79 403 cutlass supreme, & 87,442/307//455 .050 over & goodies..I'm drivin my moms 93 Supreme LS these days (nursing home) it's faster than the 85 Salon,just as fast as the stock 442,to my surprise & front wheel pulls it through snow like a dream.. still rather have the 442 though the real complaint about the 93 would be the small brakes and really poorly designed (fan & duct ) climate control system
It was a single 3 inch pipe coming off the manifolds, no converter, split after the crossmember into two 40 series flowmasters. It actually sounded good with just the 307
when i got the exhaust it still had the 307 and it was the day after i bought the car so i really couldn't tell you. But after the 403 was in i cut the converter off and that made a improvement that i could feel

when i got the exhaust it still had the 307 and it was the day after i bought the car so i really couldn't tell you. But after the 403 was in i cut the converter off and that made a improvement that i could feel
