Until one day I realized that the game is not as good as it is seen to be and is not up to date .SAY TO YOURSELF :I'm done with this ,I've done a good role in this community .From now on ,I'm doing this life with prospect ,studying ,part-time working ,body exercise ,etc.

well it was pretty simple for me to stop wow x)

i bought it .. installed it .. played trial so it was like 6am-4pm school and from 4pm to 6am wow .. 7 days a week so my parents said they refuse to pay the fees for the game

then i played maplestory (cuz its free) all summer long aka 24/7 for 2 months .. it was sad xD

i then found priv servers for wow n started that again.

what i did id del both games n then think .. "if i reinstall, itll take me 5 days again" so uhm i had better stuff to do

yeaa wow is addicting. I just started playing last week and I've played countless hours during the night, I leveled my hunter dwarf 1 to 25 in 2 days which, for me, took a lot of time. I need to slow up, but what bothers me is that I pay for the damn game so I feel obligated to play LOL

As for guild wars, great game! and it can get a addicting, but WOW has me stuck on the comp for hours, Ive never been addicted to a game this much before haha

I was addicted to an MMORPG. I used to play it for 3 hours on school days and like seven hours on free days. How did I stop? Internet line was cut. It took me a year to forget about the game. Then when internet was back I started playing again but I quitted it quickly realising how stupid is working to increase level and find items only to get owned by a noob with better items and higher level. Levelling and item hunting is such a waste of time.

Its easy. I started playing WoW and if i got to addicted one day i force myself to not play the next day at all. After you do that That you get less addicted the day after and start to play 30 to and hour daily. The less you play the better. Do a sport. Before you start to play go outside for an hour. Thats all i can think of.

People think they have to quit MMORPG addictions just like that. Truth is, all you gotta do is kinda wipe your account and take a nice long break from the game. Then when you realize how bad you were (with your addiction not in the game) you'll be able to play the game as a hobby and not be addicted to it. (I don't mean completely wipe your account, sell your junk and keep the good stuff so when you start playing again it's easier.)

Actually, once you hit 70 the point of the game is to defeat all the bosses in the raid instances. From the Huntsman all the way down to Illidan.

I agree, high level of pvp is fun; not only that, pve farming in hardmode was enjoyable with various choices.( I like how farming methods evolve just like pvp ) I only had monk so for instance, duo 600 uw,fow, 55 soj, 55 healing hand sliver, 55 spoil victor, mo/rituailst, and energy burn with ranger famine.
