i got my harmonica for christmas. so i have been playing for a couple of weeks now, almost a month. I found i could overblow pretty good on my hohner marine band. i mean its not perfect, but its pretty close, and you helped kinda regulate it. thanks. XD

Fantastic to hear. Remember, this technique doesn't allow you sustain the hole 1 overblow... it merely guides you in the direction to start trying overblows elsewhere on the harp.

I hear you. I opened up my MB honer and tightened the reeds a bit. This may be a silly questiion but when you overblow is it the blow or draw reed that rings? Thanks again.

It's actually the draw reed that vibrates/sounds when you overblow... the blow reeds sounds on the overdraw. Try the technique looking in the mirror with no coverplates. Very cool to watch.

I just can bend in some wholes drawing and in others blowing.
