even though times seem better back then , these are just commercials life wasnt like this all day long , and why would we go back to old times, we are advancing with technology , if we stayed like the 50s we would basicly be amish
these were the times when jack could afford a house with a sada jerk salary, the blacks and browns were invisible, KKK ruled the south, lynchings were a family affair, the top 1% paid 90% of taxes, america was at its strongest, unemployment was below 4%, a man was able to provide for the family while the mom looked after the kids, TV was all white is this what the tea baggers mean when they say "lets get our country back?"
You point? Those days will never come again... The middle class pretty much pays most of the taxs today. I don't have a problem with color people or people of different races on tv. My only problem with with certain people or groups when they think everyone equal. In the truth of the real world noone is really equal, everyone has to work for what they have and earn, unless their parents are rich.. If you want that kind of America back solmiansky, go look for the NWO.
Last that I check George Bush Sr, and George Bush jr, are just a few members of that sceret group that wants to change the world back to the way it way one hundreth years ago. Most of the members of this group meet almost every five years in Bohemian Grove. Most of them feel the sameway as You do.. Maybe You should reach out to them and ask when the change is going to happen. As for me, I'm just going to keep living my life and doing my own thing.
Jack: "Ever heard of the word "Please"? You snot nose punk! I didn't get this plate in my head killing Nazi's , so I could come home and be your personal servant!"
This appeared as an "integrated commercial" on "THE ADVENTURES OF OZZIE & HARRIET", as Coke was their "alternate sponsor" between 1961 and 1963. Both Rick and David were at the soda fountain...
The date is right because that slogan(Coke Gives You That Refreshing New Feeling - Zing!) was used in 1961 and 1962, it actually was followed by the slogan that came out in 1963(Things Go Better With Coke) which was used through the rest of the 60's.
Love it and I memorized. (my school plays it every thursday cuz now we r 50 years old this year!)

Times were "better" back then if you were a white male, maybe. I doubt wou'll find many blacks and women yearning for the 1950's America.

Did you see how Jack made the coke? Man, were they ever dumb back then!
PoutinePete 1 year ago
@PoutinePete what do u mean dude he didnt make the coke he just put some ice in the glass and then put the coke from the soda fountain
TheEgyptianOne 1 year ago
@TheEgyptianOne ---no, I think he put powder in the glass, followed by ice & then
club soda. I think thats how they made coke at the malt shop in the 50s.
PoutinePete 1 year ago
@PoutinePete no because then why is their coca cola printed in the fountain if the fountain carries club soda. but i will search and find this out
TheEgyptianOne 1 year ago
@PoutinePete
It's the exact same way they do it today, coke syrup and carbonated water mixed at a fountain.

There were variations on this jingle, with slightly different lyrics. Such as:
"Coca-Cola gives you that refreshing new feeling
Zing - what a feeling
Refreshing new feeling..."
And:
"KIng-Size Coca-Cola gives you
Zing - what a feeling
Zing - what a feeling
Refreshing new feeling..."
