jailbreaking made my ipod touch a nearly full-featured and extremely portable unix-computer. i haven't experienced any crashes. only tons of customization options that apple has kept away from me because they obviously consider the average user too dumb and unexperienced to use them. might be true for some people out there, but if you like tweaking and you know what damages a PC and what does not, jailbreaking is for you.

i kinda think apple is right about the crashing problems with the apps because i got my ipod touch jailbroken and like 4 or 5 months later it crashed and so my first idea was to let it die charge it and it would probably be fine but every time i tried to turn my ipod touch on it would show a weird look apple and a thing under it showing it was loading and after 2 minutes it was just freeze and i have gotten it to work since august. if you have anything to say about this please send me a message.

The drop calls, youtube and other apps not working, and the location data part.... all bs. my safari and itunes app crash a lot due to jailbreaking. but im not restoring. its fine. they are the only two apps that have problems tbh on my ipod touch. i have seen a huge increase on safari on my ipod crashing. i dont use it to often but it crashes a lot. its boring when its not jailbroken. you cant customize. apple should let us do that. like maybe 50 cents a theme. and people can create and submit themes to lets say the Apple Theme Store. idk. do something apple to let us customize.

Heres what I do not understand about the link you posted. The first part is the Summary which does not state that its illegal. All it says is that there are problems if jailbreaking.

If it was a legal matter why didnt they state that in the beginning of the Summary . Im not with ATT so no warranty to void or there service.

I have ipod touch and not having any issues...Turn off SSH and Turn Wifi off and Turn Brightness to about 30% and battery is fine.

iPod Touch cost me 400 bucks we should be able to do what we want with our devices.

I think the battery life statement may be true. Using certain flash cards on the Nintendo DS does the same thing. Now, provided that is actual hardware, but if the program needs more power than it can get, for instance, then you have some trouble as it's going to be sucking up your battery very quickly, which would make sense.

I spent £538.00 for my 32GB iPhone 3GS here in the UK on pay as you go, therefore I will do what the hell I want with my phone seeing as it cost me over half a grand! If you don't jailbreak your iPhone you are only experiencing 20% of what the iPhone can really do!
