I went to school in Hohne which is situated just outside the village of Bergen in northern Germany. I was there from 1980-1985. My father was a British soldier and he was stationed in Fallingbostel, around 30 km away. I joined the British army in 1986. My mother was German and my German grandfather was a soldier during WW2. He fought on the Russian front.
Bergen is only a few kilometres from Belsen concentration camp, where Anne Frank died.

I went to school in Hohne which is situated just outside the village of Bergen in northern Germany. I was there from 1980-1985. My father was a British soldier and he was stationed in Fallingbostel, around 30 km away. I joined the British army in 1986. My mother was German and my German grandfather was a soldier during WW2. He fought on the Russian front.
Bergen is only a few kilometres from Belsen concentration camp, where Anne Frank died.
The holocaust really happened, do not deny it.

@DrCruel this goes on today but not as bad[ yet] in tn jails by deputy's and jailers who are worse then any NAZI guard ever.i make no joke when i write this its common knowledge that tn has the worst record of inhuman treatment of prisoner.the NAZIS were evil people but some guards and jailers in tn are way worse then some NAZIS.the other bad part is the elected officials no all about the cruelty by guards and jailers but do nothing about it.just my opinion.

Just to inform if you don't know some people who were in the nazi army for hitler did not know what was going on they only believed hitler was a person who was going to help germany out of the great depression the innocent people who became part of the nazi party group thought they were helping the people out pf the great depression because little did they know that they were going to kill people because hitler was a great speaker who was able to trick them.

No, every German who joined the Nazi regime knew exactly what they were about to do. They feared that if they resisted or avoided the Nazi's they would be excluded or killed. Also, nearly everyone in Europe at the time had a hatred for the Jews, who had prospered in finance while Germans suffered in poverty after Germany's WWl defeat. Hitler didn't trick them, he promised a reunified Germany and promoted Social Darwinism and a superior Aryan world.

Just to let you know not all nazi's are hateful scum that contributed or knew what was going on in the camps. They simply lived in a brainwashed government that ticked many into joining. Not everyone who fought on the German side knew what was exactly going on. Just like today in the US not all of our soldiers know exactly what they are accomplishing or shooting at. However all German troops were racist from the various propaganda that Hitler sped throughout the country.

2nd of all,France declared Germany war,not the other way around.
The allied forces trowed firebombs on the german civilians.
I personally think that is alot worse then gassing people,putting people on fire.
The brits were just as digusting,same goes for the russians.
Most people died of diseases in camps,like tyfus.
Why is it ,f they gassed everyone ,ome survivors spend several years in Auschwitz.
