What brand and type of camera did you have? The picture quality seems excellent and i assume your camera must have been somewhat tiny to fit the boat? Did it have own battery or did you use boats' battery to power the camera? ..So that equation usually means that camera has to be expensive?? I have myself Graupner model PT 109 1:32 scale and i have also been plannning to put a camera aboard. Thanks for really entertaining video! =)
I plan to purchase a RC video recorder camera called the "Go Pro" . Built within a protective clear enclosure. Designed to be mounted on surfboards or bike helmets. Survive immersion up to 100ft. Record video up to 54 minutes
We built dozens, perhaps hundreds of the 80' Elco PT Boat, like the PT-109. Sadly, most of those that survived the war were scrapped. However, a single, real PT boat survives to this day that is the same model as PT-109. In Battleship Cove, neat Fall River, Massachusetts, there are 2 PT boats. One of them is the PT-617, the sole survivng 80' Elco PT boat. The PT-617 is the closest way to visit the PT-109 today

Because the Japanese Navy was shrinking as the war progressed.

It was a regular shoot to pic type digital camara you get at Walmart. It was taped to the deck resting against the front windows of PT109 model.

It would take more then one PT-boat to take Yamato down. I love both PT-109 and Yamato.
