the bus is crap, ADL Enviro 400s anyday, least they have opening windows to let the most imporant thing in summer, FRESH AIR into the bus, this is just a giant greenhouse on wheels
@grahamf19 and Enviro 400's are better looking. Idk why they make it seem like new London Buses are as eco friendly as they can be, to make them more eco friendly they could try making the buses have a higher capacity, i've heard this is possible.
@bengo940 agreed the Enviros 400s are better looking than this nonsense rubbish, waste of money designing it, this is one thing that Boris should never have thought up a replacement to the Routemaster which was a true Iconic Figure of Londons Past, the ADL Enviro 400 is the Icon of London Present
@grahamf19 I just want to say,It wasn't a replacement to the routemaster, boris was rather upset that the routemaster was withdrawn. I'm guessing that it is a replacement for those stupid bendy buses.
@grahamf19 Are you serious? only bus anoraks would know what an ADL Enviro 400 is. This on the other hand has the classic hop on hop off everyone loved yet has air conditioning and the best fuel economy and lowest emissions of any dbl decker out there. The styling is a matter of taste. I for one however think this it will be a massive hit and predict tfl will be ordering hundreds by the summer provided Boris gets in again, which he will.
@grahamf19 No offence intended, If the Australian Buses equipt with air con and no opening windows can comfertably handle a 42 degree celcius heat day and maintain a comfertable 21 degree's through out the interior of the bus in the harsh Australian Enviroment I'm sure they can to, if they cant maybe they need to invest in some of the Aussie Unit's (although on UK Buses the Aussie Air con units Units will turn them into freezers on wheels) look at the roof mounted units on "Sydney Buses" on here
