Muslims do pay taxes. It's called "Zakat" and they're required to pay 2.5% of their income away. That was the "taxes" Muslims in Muslim countries paid.Taxes are used to show loyalty to one nation. What would happen if one didn't pay their taxes? You'll go to jail or you may go to jail and take your house & everything you own. Taxes are important for everyone to pay. Under the Caliphate since Zakat was not obligatory to non-muslims, they had to pay taxes to show their loyalty.

Can you provide evidence from hadiths and the Quran ? A non-muslim who paid there taxes in an Islamic country was given equal rights. The tax is also imposed fairly and is not meant to be overburdening. It's funny when you look into history, The Jizya tax guarantees the non-muslims complete protection under the Islamic state. If an enemy country attacks the Islamic country, the Islamic country has a duty to defend the non-muslim and they were not even obliged to fight!

Actually it failed because the British who took over the Middle East convince the Arabs to fight against the Ottomans. While the Arabs were trying to overthrow the Turks, Britain was trying to overthrow them on the other side. Muslims do pay taxes. It's called "Zakat" and they're required to pay 2.5% of their income away. That was the "taxes" Muslims in Muslim countries paid.Taxes are used to show loyalty to one nation. What would happen if one didn't pay their taxes? You'll go to jail or you may go to jail and take your house & everything you own. Taxes are important for everyone to pay. Under the Caliphate since Zakat was not obligatory to non-muslims, they had to pay taxes to show their loyalty.

Can you provide evidence from hadiths and the Quran ? A non-muslim who paid there taxes in an Islamic country was given equal rights. The tax is also imposed fairly and is not meant to be overburdening. It's funny when you look into history, The Jizya tax guarantees the non-muslims complete protection under the Islamic state. If an enemy country attacks the Islamic country, the Islamic country has a duty to defend the non-muslim and they were not even obliged to fight!

Reality is what matters, not theory. In reality Islamic rule is oppressive, maybe not compared to Dark Ages Europe, Stalin's Russian empire or Nazi Germany but I set my sights a little higher than that.

Do some little research on the first four Caliphs of Islam, then look into the Abbasid Caliphate era.
When your done with that, search up the Islamic Golden Age and all the Caliphs after that.

The point to make is that 2.5% is a very modest tax compared to the taxes in the west which actually provide services the people want rather than a thin veneer of altruism. In what way is it a charitable act to pay the trivial taxes you have to pay or face execution for apostasy? In the west the rich pay taxes and voluntarily contribute to charities on top of that, because they want to.

What is wrong with the people earning the most paying the most? If you earn thousands of times more than a man on minimum wage (do Muslim countries have a minimum wage?) surely you should pay both more money in total and a higher proportion of your income as tax, you're still going to be vastly richer at the end of it.

Zakat should be distributed among the poor by the state and not by the rich people. In this sense, Zakat is a tax collected and distributed by the state. The Public Treasury under Islam is the counterpart of the modern Ministry of Finance which collects public revenues and distributes these among the various public utilities. The state supports and looks after those who become needy-through inability to earn their living or due to the insufficiency of their means.

If there was a democratic process for choosing a successor described in the Qur'an then the hadiths and other histories would give accounts of the election of the first caliph according to that mechanism. because theres other ones that are found such as pharoahs body which was another prophecy said in the qur'an by GOD!!

if you looked at the arabic its not literally just iron and copper, IN FACT THERES MANY DISAGREEMENTS ON THE WORDS USED IN THAT VERSE!!

so disapprove pharoahs preserved DROWNED body prophesied only by the qur'an
and then look into the other two stories which are said to have already existed , and GOD settled the disputes over the disagreements
therefore they can be from any place , not only jew!! becasue prophets are said to have come all over the world
in fact we believe every religion usually has one origin that was corrupted!!
syrian, levanite, midian, doesnt matter where the story comes from

why is it useless to focus on the wall.
you want to avoid it because it proves that muhammad heard a mythical story in syria and included it in koran.
the other story that inluded was that of 7 saints who slept in the cave for 200 yeas.
he copied mythical stories from jews and jews copied everything from egyptian mythology.
plz. read "101 myths of the bible", by gary greenberg, the president of biblical achaeology society of NY.
the book will also prove abraham was a fictional character.

if you ever read the tasfeer on the reason why muhammad was revealed about dul-durnain and the the story of the 7 saints its because the jews were arguing about this over and over and asked muhammad if your a prophet then who was dul-durnain
and also the quran sayss about the people in the cave that the christians and the jews were disagreeing over how many people were in the cave
it was well known that these stories already existed!!

omar was killed by a slave, who came to him to complain about his master.
omar did not take any action. so the slave got angry and killed him.
now you are trying to portray omar as a champion of poor's cause.
before becoming muslim omar found out that his slave girl had become muslim.
he first beat her and then killed her by stabbing his spear between her legs. she died a terrible death.

it is not 2.5 of thier income.but whole wealth/possesions... those money paid by non muslim where not used for military. but public services like school, hospitals, universities ect.. public services were free that time.. the muslim 2.5% tax is called zakat.those goes to the poor or unfortunate.
