The problem you mention is a mechanical balance, not the kind of healthy balance that my video talks about.
Walking problem arises from bad coordination between the brain, muscles, and nerves. The coordination gets worse with age or degeneration of body tissues.
Keeping your health in balance will help delay the onset of this mechanical balance problem.
is there anysort of techinques i could use in order to help an indevidual i know whom suffered a stroke gain valance in her motorskills????????? any advice is very helpfull thanks
Great video! The one thing I am wondering about is when you refer to raising one's balance to a higher plane for better health... You also mention when our health is taken a bad turn, the balance has slid downward.
But isn't the concept of balance itself trying t ostay away from references to up or down? Surely raised balance is out of balance from the middle balance! Same as low balance...
Balance in health is like riding a bicycle as I explained in the video. You may fall anytime or lose balance temporarily (get sick) due to disturbances from within or without. The body always tries to maintain balance (your immune system and your healthy lifestyle). But you will lose balance finally when you die.
Your everyday life is full of ups and downs mostly without you being aware of it, because you can manage them. If you're more robust (move to a higher balance point) you're in a better position to manage your ups and downs. And vice versa. Balance is the result of your being able to handle all the ups and downs. Without them, there will be no need for balance.
You're right in saying that TCM/Taoism is focused on the middle path. In other words, it's an effort to stay in balance. Why? Because nature and life present a lot of ups and downs beyond our control. We cannot tell them to go away, except to find a way to handle them so that we can survive healthily and in peace.
so true quantumtaoist every balance must be met even the carnal and spiritual opperating systems that we run on when we harmonise the duals we change our plain of thought to one based around oneness or(spiritual) duality is the rule of the (physical) and is under the plain of thought of the carnal mind alot of people think we are ment to disregard the physical and go compleatly in to the oneness but this is a mistake because without duality the physical is not possible which means nothing is
can you inlighten me about gaining balance when the human body has little balance, such as little control when walking>>>>

Yes, your common sense! How do you learn to do something? How does a child learn to walk? Very easy, just by doing it again and again!
You help your friend achieve balance in walking by giving him support while he walks and walks. His motor skills will gradually come back.
