Excellent, my congrats! But wondering why you don't 'work' with right leg too? Other ak amps without stump holder usually do! Was clip taken close after surgery?
Reading through the description and your comments I admire your courage and it's very moving to see someone who's had something very unfortunate happen to them but are still able keep such a positive attitude.
Thanks guys for warm wishes and positive feedback. I'm now back to work full time from my med leave. Whereas I haven't had lots of time to get back on my bike, I am active in every other way. Walking long trails is my thing :P
@UberOcelot yeah balance is a precarious thing. It also takes a little mental work to say make sharp right turns.. a little apprehensive about falling on that side where I don't have a limb in place to halt my fall for example.
@TheEternal323 thanks man, it was one of the scarier things I did in my life to be sure. And I had to fall a couple times before I beat it into my head how to ride correctly with one leg :P
@1coolcobra I am a long shot from a prosthesis yet. I need a full hip reconstructive surgery for that. But I'd think that these days there are some elaborate prosthetic devices out there that work well with bikes?
Good start!

I have both legs, but i love to to this to strengthen one leg at a time. I'm sure the loss of balance makes it a lot harder for him though.
