I'm not 100% sure, but in regards to the player aiming, how u said no other game does this, ima have a stab in the dark and say Monster Hunter online would have... Seeing as from what i recall the single player never had lock on or targeting...

It's so fucking helpfull that the commentator's know their homework, and they can compare it great with other games. I love it that they think the same as me with the cookie-cutter builds (glyphs) I want every charecteur to be unique :) im sold for this game.

@SlackinPanda I've never had any problems and I'm level 66, max being 70 at the moment. Though the game can be laggy that's down to the host having a bad connection, doesn't take a genius to work out that you should try reducing the party size or pause downloads/uploads in the background to improve your connection.

@th7beardsofz00z lol no offense intended. simply stated its just not THAT great of a game simply because of the lag that can insue from other players. while its a good game its repetative and boring at high levels because quite frankly....you do run out of things to do. and i got hacked in oct and my ticket is still open...its sad really. and usually connections arnt a problem as i typically host haha

@jordansantos777 No, I spent a very long time with runescape, wow and lotro and I find the action style combat of vindictus to be very exciting and something that actually requires skill, though I appreciate the thought and preparation required for difficult things on WOW, I'd rather my death be determined by my own skill of dodging/blocking than some mathematical equation.

I think the game looks really detailed from this video, but I don't think an MMORPG that functions off of handheld controllers won't hold my attention. If you can do everything you need from 8-10 buttons then this game probably won't be complex enough for my tastes.

@jordansantos777 Every class can chain abilities together in different ways and you have to learn and predict boss patterns and actually actively move and re-aim abilities to play this game, so... My understanding is that it actually has a pretty steep learning curve.

Also lvl cap is lvl 58 in ktera not 60, its going to be 60 near NA launch. Raid wise i think they are going to add 10-20 man raid in but thats not 100% but lvl cap raise to 60 is for sure.

Also end game dungeon have hard mode so it is really hard, think of monster lol even tanks that get hit by boss one takes good chunk of hp.

Class wise

Warrior are dodge tanks, they have skill to grab aggro and have dodge skill with inv frame to dodge attacks.

Mystic is not dps, they are support like priest.

The Archer will use a cross-hair to aim. Think 3rd person shooter, like from over the shoulder. You will see your character like every other class, but you will have a small cross-hair for aiming. watch?v=uZkL4UBw3lE

Loved races; loved monster's and citie's designs. Music was awesome. Combat system also (fot its age). Political issues also. Clan wars. non-faction MMOs are the best ones. You play what you want, while still being with your friends.

the one thing i absolutely hate is to be killed when i do not wish to be killed. whats even worse, is when the killer gets no penalty for doing so. i am MMOs you always have assholes who just want to ruin your day. there is nothing worse than minding your won business then suddenly someone much higher with much better gear shows up and kills you....i don't want to call friends or guilds....just leave me alone!

Not sure if it's been mentioned but Sorcerers are flat DPS. Mystics have less dps but get buffs for the group such as double crit rate, summonable health/mana pots that lay on the ground waiting to be picked up, temporary monster summoning to tank/dps/heal and I think they get a single heal spell too so they are the buffer/utility class of the game. Very handy to have in a group, everyone loves crit.

Everyone behind the Lancer when they are blocking, takes reduced damage. So, Lancer tanks FTW.

And Sorcerer/Mystic/Archer, you aim like a Third person Shooter, they all have a crosshair.

Also, Vanarc's can turn open PvP on or off in an area, according to En Masses video on the political system, oh and put people in jail, if you didn't know already. =s

@Neviksir I refuse to call a "metal bikini" a piece of armor. We both know that this games armor design is focused on making lonely guys turned on by little elves in medieval strippers clothes. Armor isn't meant to look good, it's meant to protect. You might just as well write: "Stab me here" on the armor, since it seems be doing a good job on exposing all the vital areas.

But appparently sexual pixels sells well for nerds, in video games.

@MikaelDryden I'm going to play devil's advocate here and explain that the idea that armour which exposes too much flesh doesn't serve its job as actually protecting you is not right. Remember these are pieces are magical; the protection doesn't come from the strength of the metal or the area covered, it comes from magic. That's why a high level skimpy silk robe could be 100 times more protective that a full leather set. Or 1 circlet could give more protection then a full set of steel armour.

Every game I know of, even those that with more realistic medieval settings as opposed to high fantasy, has armour with magical properties. Once you get past the initial starting gear like plain leather boots and scraps of mail, it's magical attributes you're looking for - so it doesn't matter what it looks like. These metal bikinis might radiate a powerful defensive aura.

I've have played this game alot. The early EU beta etc. The netcode is fucking smooth. I have no idea how they managed it, cuz many games have had problems with making games with persistent combat feel seemless and lagfree. I have done battlegrounds with 15vs15 players with 30ms, and it feels amazing to say the least. I can't wait for this game, it's going to rock, even if we all know it's not gonna kill WoW. WoW has it's own thing going, as it always will, but innovation is coming.

Vindictus features a lot of things you mentioned, for example the aiming archer, it just haven't come out in the US, also, Age of Conan ranger, had an option to go first person but was mostly only used to shoot farer.
