Dude, not being funny but you are probably the best tutor for drums on youtube. I've seen a lot of tutors and yes they're good but they're not as precise as you and I can tell you, before this I thought the californication drums were impossible to succeed with but after the video I got straight on the kit and I felt possessed by Chad Smith and I could play the beat so relaxed. Thank you soooo much, please tell me you get paid for this, you deserve it :D

Yes, look at his classes or performances on drum channel, there is one where he says that he keeps his feet bouncing you can also see this. His toes stay in touch with the pedal, but his knees and heels are always bouncing a bit. Thats how he gets the slight open and close affect on the hi-hats.
