Great car man. I so miss mine. I should never have sold it. Had an 86 RS converted to mass air, 75mm mass air, 70mm throttle body, E303, cobra intake, ported 91 heads, 1.7 rollers, suspension and brake mods, aluminum driveshaft...uugh I should have kept it.

not a downhill track. its a level track, but built on an uphill terrain. looks downhill, but its not.

v4? lmfao no such thing...its 4 cylinder the v6 and v8 are called a "V" because the pistons go up n down in a v motion....4 cylinders are straight and theres straight 6's too

I still think they're one of the meanest looking cars ever! I love my '86, same color but I think you upgraded everything to 5-lug for the better brakes and the cool later GT rims rather than the standard 10 holers, right? I think the bubbleback ROCKS and that's part of what makes it look so purposeful, besides you can fit some big s@@t in the back with the seats down and it's more aerodynamic than the others. @ 50mph in the rain you don't need a rear wiper either!

Wicked! I miss my '86 RS :( Didnt have much done and only made about 250 RWHP but it was such a fun car. I'm an idiot for selling it. Have not seen one on the street since. I go cry now.

@svtcontour i dont know if you know this or not but starting next year there will be no more mercury witch means these cars are going to be worth more than the fox mustang cars i just figured id rub it in some more for ya lol.

@lions66666 DOH! Man that absolutely sucks. Well I dont feel as bad anymore because I got to go for a ride in a Contour SE which had a 3L engine conversion from a Ford Escape with the SVT heads, cams, computers, larger injectors, headers and most importantly a LSD. Yes its FWD and it struggles with traction in first gear but the car pulled very hard. I was impressed. Thats what I'm going to do with my SVT Contour down the road. I'd be more than happy with what I experienced :)
